Update...Found this article to explain the duplicate calls and redirect:http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalmarketing/analytics/under-the-hood-with-visits-and-visitors/ Also discovered that the redirects were occurring on devices that weren't maintaing the s_vi cookie. 30% devices seems like a lot.Solution is to post a custom visitor id using the vid variable with each tracking call. We just released a new version of our Android app and are seeing about 30% of our devices generating a new unique visitor and visit for every tracking call. This is significantly inflating our visit count and making our conversion rates incorrect.I found a device that was tracking this way and ran it through a Charles proxy. Robert - I'm seeing the same thing in my Android app. It looks like the first call is being redirected and inserting the additional parameters. It is causing Adobe to count a new unique visitor for every tracking call. Where you able to get this resolved?

I would like to know the same. We are seeing very high crash rates for iOS - above 50% - but don't see the same data from Crashlytics. Our Android crash rates are below 5%.

Steve - I'm also seeing a lot of extra visits with no page views. These visits typically include a launch, crash, and no activity time. For any particular user and device these can happen several times per day, and on multiple days. How can I figure out what activities are occurring that are causing the launch/crash/visit to report but no other activity?It happens much more often in iOS than Android. -Mike.

We are seeing the same issue. I have a lot of segments that are set up with Mobile Device Type equal to Mobile Phone. None of those segments work unless I edit them, and reset the type from Unknown to Mobile Phone.

I have several reports established in dashboards where I utilize the comparison (% of total) column. On 1/16, something changed and that comparison column doesn't show up when I am reporting on calculated metrics. We have reproduced the issue on several devices - Samsung GS3 & GS4, Sony Xperia - and multiple versions of Android - 4.3, 4.4.2, 4.2.The frustrating part is that it didn't happen everytime on all devices.
