Is it possible to create a segment where I compare values of an evar to previous values of the evar, and then to only include visits where the evar has changed. Basically, I want all visits where an evarN.value != previous_evarN.value for a visit. Since I won't know what the previous value of evarN was, I can't set it specifically using "equals" and then use a "not equals".

That is the normal behaviour for Ad Hoc when you add items to the "Fixed Value List" (if you only have 1 dimension). After you add items, it will immediately use the order that you have put them in to sort the report, and since you don't have any further dimensions to sort on, it won't give you a sort option. The only way to remove this behaviour is to remove all the items from the fixed value list.

We are using the latest library for IOS apps which use context data variables. Using processing rules, I am setting the event "Orders(purchase) to Custom Value 1" based on the page name and the existence of a context data variable. I know the processing rule is working correctly, as I am getting data showing in other eVars that I have set in the same rule, and I get a count or orders in both SiteCatalyst Reports, and Adhoc. The problem is, if I look at the hits from Data Warehouse, the Order var...

A fairly standard request I hope, but one I can't seem to get to work. I need to know which page customers click on exit links. We are using the auto exit link tracking, which, as I understand, cannot be correlated with pagenames due to the way they are handled by the processing servers, where they are "removed" in order to not inflate page views. Since we have a lot of exit links, I do not want to have to manually tag all exit links and set a property, nor modify the s_code..What are my other o...

I don't know why this question is set as solved considering it is taking an external mapping from non-Adobe sources. Additionally, we are having problems with the "domain = None", so it would be good to know why Adobe sets this for this report (which is not under our control).

When pulling Transfers, Ad Hoc pulls in a related metric instead. The really odd thing about this is that the tool works fine with previously saved reports (using the same metric). It's as if when a new report is created, there is some bug that causes it to not function properly. Any related information would be appreciat...

Hi, we use the same report suite for multiple websites and multiple apps. We use an evar, which is populated by each application, so that it is easy to differentiate. You can then use all your standard evars, props and events throughout. Obviously, you have to remember that the app specific definitions and metrics only relate to the apps, but it has worked well for us.

Hi, those were individual visits and orders, not cumulative orders.Visit number 3 with 1 purchase (3rd purchase in total) = Not return as <2 purchases --> (it is return, as they had made 2 purchases in the previous 2 visits).Visit number 5 with 1 purchase (4th purchase in total) = Not loyal as ❤️ purchases --> (it is loyal, as they had made 3 purchases in the previous 4 visits).I guess I will have to raise with ClientCare.

Actually, this doesn't seem to be working at all. If you look at the previous attachment, it shows that the visitor is classified as "New" even though they have more than 1 purchase.Visit number 1 with 1 purchase = New -> correctVisit number 2 with 1 purchase = New -> correctVisit number 3 with 1 purchase = New -> incorrect, should be Return.Visit number 5 with 1 purchase = New -> incorrect, should be LoyalThey then suddenly skip to Loyal in Visit number 6, and 7, and then suddenly for their nex...

Ok, it looks like even though I have set up the "Unique Visitor Variable" within the Admin Tools, it is not using that variable. The attached customer is shown as new for 5 purchases on 5 different visits, so it is clearly not using the variable I set as the unique variable. Will the new visitor service improve this variance?

Hi TM,Yes, I have gone through those definitions, and that is what I am basing my comparisons against. For instance, as an example, I have one customer that was categorised as "new" on the 25th June, however, according to our records, they have made 40 purchases, evenly spread between December 2014 and June 25th 2015. The overall accuracy for the 25th June for "new" customers is 30%.At the same time, I have "loyal" customers that haven't purchased yet, as well as customers that only have one or ...

Does anyone use the "Customer Loyalty" reports, and are the numbers believable? I have downloaded some data around this, and found that the categories for new, return and loyal bear very little resemblance to the actual customers that we have.(when comparing number of transactions by individual customer vs categorisation in Adobe). Although the reports would be great to use, there is very little use in having them if they are vastly inaccurate. Also, what is the use of setting the "Unique Visito...

Hi Kamlesh,I think the answer you are looking for is: You can't change the format of fields for output in a DataWarehouse report, you can only select the items, and they will be output in the format that Adobe uses. You will have to change the format once you receive the file and use it, or, if you are an admin, you can change it in the Company Settings -> Preferences by selecting the "Use ISO 8601 Date format for CSV (2015-06-30)", but this will affect everyone's extracts. You can only use a com...

I have a datawarehouse report with ~150 columns, and need to use it for other report suites (10). I can duplicate the request, but as soon as I change the report suite within the tool, it resets the report to have no fields. Is there a way that I can duplicate the report and use if for different report suites?
