Re: Disqualify a user of a trait/segment after x days shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi fernandob69944013If we are using a rule based trait in segment, then we can definitely exclude user after certain time by using recency and frequency in segment expression. In case segment is built off using onboarded trait only, then we need to include a rule based trait as per our use case to utilize recency and frequency.Regards,Shweta

Re: IP Obfuscation - Benefits shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi TimeIndicatorBelow is some documentation about IP obfuscation.IP Address Obfuscation Regarding geo location in general, this is from the documentation (https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/aam/data_privacy.html): "Customers can use the Geographic Segmentation feature that allows the customer to map out visitor location by geographic area in either case, but with some slight loss of precision when IP obfuscation is being used".Besides the traits that contain geo location and "h_ip"...

Re: How to remove the existing onboarded trait users if expire set to "0" zero conditions? shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Vijay,.overwrite file: It overwrites all of your existing visitor profiles and replaces them with the data in your file. You can use a .overwrite file to reset visitor traits or remove stale, obsolete traits..sync file: It appends new data to your existing visitor profiles. Sending in a .sync file does not erase or overwrite existing profiles For e.g.Day 1(.overwrite)1234 "gender"="m","age"="30","campaign"="upgrade eligible" User will be qualified for all the three traits Day 2(.overwrite)123...

Hi vijayakumar.rajuYes,your understanding is correct. In addition to above:When the data source is setup as "Cookie" then data will be collected and associated with a profile based on identifier stored in browser cookie. When the data source is setup as "Cross-device" then data will be collected and associated with a profile based a customer-provided, authenticated ID.When the data source is setup as "Device Advertising Id" then data will be collected and associated with a profile based on mobile ...

Re: Export Data from Audience Manager to inhouse application shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi SivaKThere are two ways in which we can export audience manager data.1.Customer Data Feeds(CDF) as you mentioned. A CDF file contains the same data that an Audience Manager event call ( /event ) sends to our servers. This includes data like user IDs, trait IDs, segment IDs, and all the other parameters captured by an event call. More information on CDF is given here.2.The other way is to create custom exports in audience manager which will be delivered to customer's S3 bucket. These are data s...

Re: AAM Rest Api shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi there,Rest APIs let you work pro-grammatically with Audience Manager. The Audience Manager REST API follows JavaScript Object Notation ( JSON ) standards for formatting sent and received data. A principal advantage of JSON is that it helps make API queries easy to write, read, and parse by developers and machines. To simplify your work even more, they are migrated REST APIs to Swagger . For more information, see Audience Manager API Code Migration .Review the Getting Started material before wor...

Re: Cooking removal after signout shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi there,Please refer to the below docs for information on cookies and how they are set.Cookies and the ID Service How the ID Service requests and sets IDs When it specifically comes to audience manager if we are deleting the cookie after logout ,the customer Id will be associated with a new cookie/device ID every time logs in.However, there are limits to the number of cross-device ID mappings associated to a device ID. The new limits are:• 100 device IDs per cross-device ID• 10 cross-device IDs ...

Re: Writing cookies for onboarded users shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello there,A cookie destination returns and writes data to a cookie in the user's browser only when user gets qualified for the mapped segment. Until and unless user gets qualified for the segment, it is not possible retrieve segment information. For onboarded trait,we need to make sure that user data which is uploaded in audience manager are visiting the web site again, so that they can be part of real time segment population.Regards,Shweta

Re: TTL for Edge Servers for inbound server sync shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello TimeIndicatorAs per our doc here, audience manager deletes user data from our edge servers 14 days after last seeing a user on the Audience Manager platform. If Audience Manager records user activity in within this 14-day cycle, we will keep this data for another 14-days. If the user becomes active again after the 14-day period, there will be a delay between that first new page view and when the user becomes actionable. It takes 6-18 hours to get the full profile back out to the edge cente...

Re: How to control send audiences to advertising or personalization destination shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi franciscor54562584In this case,I can only think of workaround which you already suggested that is create a trait of all users who didn’t give consent for those personalization destination (Target) or advertising destination (Adwords,Facebook...) and exclude them all using "AND NOT" operator in the segment.Regards,Shweta

Hi franciscor54562584I don't think so that events value will be such that it starts and ends with same eventx. To capture a particular from the list of events,we can also build regex for that eventx.Regards,Shweta

Re: Configure Events Contains Data in AA but No Data in AAM shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi there,Another way to validate if event x is being sent to audience manager or not is using browser developer tools.1.Open the page in your website where "eventx" is fired and filter the network calls in browser developer tools using b/ss.2.b/ss is the filter for adobe analytics call.3.Open the analytics call and check for events:"eventx" value in query string parameters.4.If the value is present that means eventx is being passed to audience manager.Something like below:Regards,Shweta

Re: Show Target experience only once shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Andrey,Yes ,you are right AAM frequency setting will not allow to run the personalization scenario like "once user seen all 3 experience and then it should repeat(ie: 1st experience) and so on" but it can definitely limit the segment qualification to maximum/minimum number of times for a user which may be fruitful for the use case.Regards,Shweta

Re: Identifiers on AAM shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi franciscor54562584 ,DAIDs are used to identify mobile devices and they are different from audience manager UUIDs. In case of mobile implementation,we need to explicitly implement device Id sync in order to associate aam UUID with DAID(IDFA/GAID).E.g.Device ID sync (IDFA ID) is done using the “setAdvertisingIdentifier” method outlined here:Syntax:+ (void) setAdvertisingIdentifier:(NSString *)identifier;Example:NSString *idfa = [[[ASIdentifierManager sharedManager] advertisingIdentifier] UUIDSt...

Re: Onboarded Trait Graph Help shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi there,Your understanding is right here i.e. when customers authenticate and an ID sync is performed against CRM ID,there should be an increase in device Id reporting but we have a catch here.Previously ,we have trait reporting available only at device level. If we have onboarded a set of CRM ids, which are not synced and later on those users come online and we have an id sync in place then everything gets updated in our backend. However,in order to see the id synced data in device reporting,we...

Re: Identifiers on AAM shweta_singh - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi there,Mobile App users can be identified using DAID.DAID is the Device Advertiser ID: this is a device ID that is provided by the device manufacturer. This is usually related to mobile IDs. 2 such DAIDs areIDFA: these are device IDs for iOS devices. All these IDs are name-spaced in AAM under the 20915 DataSource.GAID: these are device IDs for Android devices. All these IDs are name-spaced in AAM under the 20914 DataSource. In some way, DAIDs are similar with AAM_IDs(UUID) in the sense that a ...
