Hi Jörg,Thank you for laying out things for me. I really appreciate it.This one was due to licensing. We have already purchased the publisher's license instead of authoring. If it was an authoring instance, I wouldn't have gone in to this kind of problem.Having dispatcher on PROD authoring instance to serve as preview environment will help too but you were right that I need some development time on this.My initial plan is to intercept workflow schedule then include it in the email that the page ...

Hi Jörg,I understand that it contradicts the best practices of AEM. The story behind this setup is we want the reviewer to see the actual page as same as the production site. So we made QA as publisher instance then reviewer can only publish from there nothing else (this breaks the best practices of AEM). Reviewer does not have any access to our authoring instance. Actually what happened why we didn't use the workflow approach is it became broken after we migrated from 6.1 to 6.3. And Adobe supp...

Yes we are going to use workflow. But that part will take effect only on the QA side after the reviewer published it.We are using AEM 6.3.

Hi guys,We have some scenario here where we have 2 authoring (Author and QA) to handle our content before it will be pushed to live (Publisher). Our problem is how to push the page that is scheduled for activation to QA but we want it to be pushed to QA automatically and include the schedule data as part of the page properties. And when QA person approve the page, it will be treated as scheduled activation on the QA instance. My initial solution is:Author instance:Author => schedule a page to be a...

Our online compaction was failing since we migrated from 6.1 to 6.3 and I cannot figure out what causes it.One error showing not enough memory to proceed the "Revision Clean up" daily scheduled tasks. Even I increased the memory before running the start.bat again just to fulfill the requirements of the task. So, after running our offline compaction script and added the additional argument, it clears out the failing daily maintenance task and I am able to run my daily maintenance tasks now.

Here are the screenshots regarding the disappearance of toolbar after triggering sourceedit icon.1. Default toolbar after clicking the RTE area2. After clicking source edit3. Now after clicking outside the gray areaThe only way we can have the toolbar again is when we close the dialog. We also are unable to save the content when it is on "sourceedit" mode.

Hi,I just want to know if someone experiencing their Touch UI's RTE is not saving when it is viewed in sourceedit mode.We have multifield with description that has sling:resourceType: cq/gui/components/authoring/dialog/richtextEvery time we want to edit a text inside using sourceedit and click check mark to save, it actually doesn't save. It will save only once you click sourceedit icon again then you see the result then that's the time you click the check mark.Another point is whenever your tog...

Hi,I'm having the same problem where I need to enable "Manage Publication" menu on our authors.Following your solution shows the menu but it opens to a new problem. Now, "Manage Publication" menu is showing even though users/groups have no replicate permission. This problem address to smacdonald2008 and kautuksahni too.

Yes, It is writing logs.I think I got it solved already. I have figured out that it is not triggering any replication action but only:org/apache/sling/api/resource/Resource/ADDED org/apache/sling/api/resource/Resource/CHANGEDorg/apache/sling/api/resource/Resource/REMOVEDHere's my @Properties({ @Property( label = "Filter", description = "Event filter for replication", name = EventConstants.EVENT_FILTER, value = "(path=/content/dam/*)" ), @Property( label = "Topic", description = "Event topic for ...

Hi,I'm working on this replication listener to capture events on my publish instance whenever DAM assets are published in our author instance. This replication listener is used to filter paths and if matches our desired filters, it will also trigger replication to other publisher.Basically, our setup is:When activating a cq:page:AUTHORING (author) ==> STAGING (publish). Then activate from STAGING (publish) ==> LIVE (publish)When activating/deactivating a dam:AssetAUTHOR ==> STAGINGAUTHOR ==> LIVES...

We had the same experience as we migrating 6.1 to 6.3 and here is how we've solved it.So first, make sure you unpack your quickstart. Then, if you are using file data store (which most of us do):Let me know if it works on your side.
