Re: Workspace to FTP kevinob - Adobe Analytics
FTP also is needed in our case because we have a system that cannot accept the published emails out of the workspace area. So our users cannot share artifacts through the 'share/ send file' functionality of the tool. FTP would give us a needed option of getting info out of the Adobe walls and to us....Why? combination of a limitation of our system and the limitations of Workspace publish options.Outbound email from Adobe’s Adobe Analytics Workspace publishing process arrive to us as completely H...

Re: Customer Attributes: Backlog & Schema Mis-match (CSO #2018073005 & #2018082407) kevinob - Adobe Experience Cloud Audiences
Got it. Extremely helpful. I've always assumed immediate update of downstream solutions once Customer Attributes said "complete"...and we've always experienced very quick practical 'realization' of attribute updates in Production experiences... except for this past week. Is there a chance that's related to this 'backlog/synch' event? If so then it'd be pertinent to update the impact statements as I'm not using FTP (just the browser drag/drop function for fairly small csv files with a very small ...

Re: Customer Attributes: Backlog & Schema Mis-match (CSO #2018073005 & #2018082407) kevinob - Adobe Experience Cloud Audiences
Question for Users of Client attributes from someone who is suspecting synching issues:- I Upload new attributes file- status goes from loading, publishing, to complete- This update changed client attribute "Reward Level" from "X" (as established in a prior file upload) to a new value of "Y" for a particular customer ID- I use the "ID Lookup" and it, as hoped, shows the Reward Level of "Y"Does that mean everything is complete? or is there further synching down the line of adobe architecture that...

Re: Profiles and Audiences - Active/ Inactive question... kevinob - Adobe Experience Cloud Audiences
Jantzen Belliston wrote... Kevin, Creating a Customer Attributes data source does not count against any limits. You can always add new data sources, so long as they have a unique alias ID. The only limits or "slots" as you called them are around subscriptions. You can find more about the subscription limits here. I've posted them below for convenience. When configuring subscriptions and selecting attributes, the following limits apply depending on the solutions you own: Analytics Standard: 3 tot...

Profiles and Audiences - Active/ Inactive question... kevinob - Adobe Experience Cloud Audiences
Regarding setup of an customer attributes in the Core Service Profiles and Attributes: https://marketing.adobe.com/resources/help/en_US/mcloud/t_crs_usecase.html The last step is to 'activate' the customer attribute data source. Data starts flowing then between the systems with subscriptions..... Question: If in the future I make that attribute data source 'Inactive'... am I able to 'start over' from scratch with another data source? or have I just created some integration that takes up my "slot...

Target to Drive Several hundred variations of an experience on a single page.... most efficient way? or is there a better way? kevinob - Adobe Target
We have a site that collects a visit level parameter that can have one of several hundred values. (to put in some kind of context let's argue that I have 500 variations of a Membership Level for a visitor each with a different offer/recognition I'd like to surface to a visitor). Depending on the specific value, a different experience (let's say image banner) is desired to be shown. So for example purposes: Visit Parameter representing Membership Level has 500 potential values, There are 500 respe...

Re: Target Standard Manual Traffic Split change to 100% - question about how traffic allocation works kevinob - Adobe Target
Nope. Not as far as I can tell. If it does answer it and I'm missing it, can you kindly let me know what the answer is? I've read those in the past... and just read them again. They do not seem to speak to my question but I might be missing something.

Target Standard Manual Traffic Split change to 100% - question about how traffic allocation works kevinob - Adobe Target
Redirect Test "X" has been running a while, splitting traffic between A (control) and B.Adobe Target StandardA/B Redirect TestTarget Audiences: All VisitorsTraffic Allocation: ManualTraffic Split: 50% A, 50% BAll other nuances aside.... If I manually change the % split to 100% for Experience B... will Visitors who had previously been allocated to A (Control) now be sent to Experience B when they return? I know there are other/ better ways to achieve the traffic split (copying old test, creating ...
