Re: Email template subject encoding - Adobe Experience Manager 23-03-2022
I'm facing the same Problem. We are using the emailtemplates where you can set the subject. But if you have characters like "ä","ö","ü" in the emailtemplate in the subject line the characters not workingso "ü" will show like "ü".As mentioned above, everything is set to UTF-8. And also there is no problem in the email body with the spcial characters. As a workaround I changed the emailtemplate.txt to ANSI. But it should work with UTF-8 encoding. I think this is a bug. and Adobe should check the pr...

Re: /etc/map with filevault-package-maven-plugin in versi... - Adobe Experience Manager 05-10-2021
Adobe has not a really good solution for it. I think they have changed a lot, but it's not fully tested yet. They have some gaps in the architecture. As a workaround we have moved the map folder from /etc/map to /conf/map. In the Project folder the /conf folder is in module ui.content.That the map will work you have to set the root of map in the JcrResourceResolverFactory to /conf/map/test, /conf/map/prod. So each environment needs its own config. the filter.xml in ui.content looks like And ...

Re: migrating /etc/map - Adobe Experience Manager 03-11-2020
they did changed a lot in the package structure. with the new filevault Version 1.1.4 it's really hard to get the build success. I'm still searching for a package where to put the config for /etc/map. I know in CRX has nothing changed, but in the Code (IDE) with all the new packages structure and depedencies, it's a different story. Heres a Link that describes what should be in the different packages, but they missed to tell where to put "/etc/map"https://wcm-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WCMIO/p...

Re: Interesting Error with filevault-package-maven-plugin... - Adobe Experience Manager 03-11-2020
our solution was to create a content (ui.content) package for things like /conf or /content. Same as in the wknd Project. https://helpx.adobe.com/ch_de/experience-manager/kt/sites/using/getting-started-wknd-tutorial-develop/part1.html You can't mix up /conf folder under /apps. they have to be separated completely (new folder structure). Still don't know where to put the /etc/map folder now

But I tried to add my sling mappings under /etc/map in the project (as usual). But this is not working.I found an article, that descriibes where to put the different folders. But they missed the /etc/map Folder for Sling Mappingshttps://wcm-io.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/WCMIO/pages/1353056261/How+to+make+your+content+packages+comply+with+Jackrabb...

But this will overwrite the whole /conf folder. So if you have other projects with editable templates, they will not exists anymore, after installation. I've tested it on AEM 6.4.8.1. I'm still searching for a solution.

Re: AEM 6.2 - Missing element AD in element OCD - Adobe Experience Manager 12-08-2019
I have the same Problem wit aem 6.4 and acs-commons 4.2.0.I can't login with idp (saml login) anymore. And it's not possible to create any new form (aem-forms).After uninstalling acs-commons 4.2.0 I can create new form (aem-forms), but idp login still not working. Our luck is that the problem is just on the develop server. So we have a bit time to fix it.But what will happen if we have the same on production system?Log Message when creating a form (aem-forms)12.08.2019 10:01:37.246 *ERROR* [10.24...

Re: I'm unable to access the Package Share from URL - Adobe Experience Manager 25-04-2019
Yes same here. And Yesterday was it the same.I really don't get it why they don't fix this huge problem. But I found a new Trick, that sometimes works. If the page is loading long after you click login. The browser (chrome) will ask you if you want to wait. And then you say yes. Maybe more than one time. Than after 10 min of waiting, you might be logged in. It worked yesterday when I logged in, with this trick.I think adobe would say, "this is not a bug, it's a feature". Like they sayed with the ...
