AEM Targeting (Contexthub) - Avoid default context to 'flash' - Adobe Experience Manager 05-12-2019
Hi All,I'm setting up Targeting using ContextHub as the engine for a project and it's pretty much done. However, I noticed that when an audience matches a defined segment and the ContextHub replaces the default content with the targeted content it looks kinda ugly.Is there a way to not display the default content for a component if it has a matching segment? I just don't want the end user to see how the default content appears and then when the JS runs it gets replaced with the targeted content. ...

How to add a query parameter to generated Clientlibs URLs. - Adobe Experience Manager 24-04-2019
Hi guys,I would like to know if there is a way to add a query parameter at the end of the generated URLs when loading the Clientlibs.Consider the following scenario:This is the code I have to load the Clientlibs. The previous piece of code generates the following script tag.We currently use Amazon CF to deliver these scripts so I would like to add a query parameter at the end of the URL as a cache busting technique so that the final URL would be like:The value of the query parameter is the versio...

What's the proper way to query all the users of an AEM installation. - Adobe Experience Manager 07-03-2019
Hello,Do you guys know what's the proper way (if exists) to query all the users in the system (under /home/users)?We have a site for one of our clients in which in one component they need to select a user from the system, it can be any user. Currently we use the following query to retrieve the users based on a search term ("%s").SELECT * FROM [nt:unstructured] AS p WHERE (ISDESCENDANTNODE([/home/users]) AND (CONTAINS(p.email, \"*%s*\") OR CONTAINS(p.givenName, \"*%s*\") OR CONTAINS(p.familyName,...

Cannot retrieve component properties from granite.resource object. - Adobe Experience Manager 03-07-2018
Hi guys I have a project running on a recently upgraded 6.4 instance. There are several components in the solution but just for one specific component the object granite.resource is acting weird. The first problem I'm experiencing with granite.resource is that the properties object is empty (granite.resource.properties) in fact if I run a JSON.stringify with the whole granite.resource object I get the following.{ "path":"/content/guidelines/logo/jcr:content/par/guidelines_hero_b", "properties":{},...

AEM 6.4 | JS from Communities libs not loading - Adobe Experience Manager 07-05-2018
Hi guys!I've been testing out a AEM 6.4 server to start working on a migration from a previous version. The problem I'm experiencing is with a built in component, basically the component at "/libs/social/calendar/components/hbs/calendar" is not loading. Its client libraries are being ignored therefore its JS and CSS are not being loaded. We do need that JS to load for internal proposes so when our own client libraries run, some of the JS files blow up as they need that previous file to had run be...

How detect a replication event in the Author environment? - Adobe Experience Manager 08-02-2018
Hi people I've got a process in which after each replication to the Publish environment I need to clean up some flags in the Author environment, therefore I need to know in Author when a replication event to Publish is done.I have a replication listener but of course this event is only triggered in the Publish environment so I don't know exactly what to do to catch in Author an event when the replication is completed. Is there a way to get something like that?Thank you!

Re: How to detect a deleted node from page in a replication event? - Adobe Experience Manager 07-02-2018
Exactly that's what I mean with sub nodes. So there is nothing already built to track this?

How to detect a deleted node from page in a replication event? - Adobe Experience Manager 07-02-2018
Hi everyone! To put you in context I've got this page, let's call it List Page, with several components of the same type, let's call these components Task Component (it's a regular AEM component). So the List page have a lot of Task components, when I replicate the List page from Author to Publish I need to detect on Publish which tasks were deleted or added in comparison with the previous state of the page before the replication.I have set up a replication listener but the ReplicationActionType....
