When scheduling a workspace to be sent via CSV, it would be great if we
had the option to 'include hidden tables'. We have some large projects
that we use for dashboarding and analysis but would also like to
leverage the CSVs. It annoying to have to either 1) unhide all tables or
2) manage two projects (one with unhidden tables)thanks,Mike
It would be extremely useful if we could have an option to add
sparklines to tables containing metrics. See the below example. This
would enable users to:1. Create workspaces with less tables and
visualizations. Allowing for faster and more efficient workspaces.2.
Analyze data faster.3. Isolate where we need to dig further faster.4.
Reduce dependency on report builder for similar purposes.See below for
an example. Let me know your thoughts.
We are testing and planning to implement server-side tracking for the
following reasons. 1. We have seen an increase in the percentage of
blocked traffic due to ad blockers and only expect this to grow as
extensions, addons, and plugins expand to mobile. 2. Browsers like
Firefox are now blocking Adobe Analytics and other trackers by
default.3. Our product teams are moving toward single page apps. Tag
managers are more reliant on data layers especially as these sites move
towards 'minified' class...
@jen.lasser you are correct, looking to build multiple at once. However,
I wasn't thinking of a query builder (which would be great too!). I was
thinking the UI could handle the action somehow. Thanks for commenting!
Lets say I have two metrics I like (Visits and Conversion Rate), and I
frequently look at them by 'Visit Number', 'Marketing Channel',
'Products'. Yes, I should just make a dashboard and be done with it.
However, I would love the ability to have the following workflow.1. Add
metrics to a table. (in my example, I am thinking about adding them as
columns/on top)2. Grab multiple dimensions and drop it on the the
table.3. After the above action is taken, workspace would automatically
Thank you for the response! Alerts are typically made for groups of
people, either team or function. Our alerts are mainly hourly. For
example, we have an alert monitoring cart addition anomolies below a
threshold of 99%. We have various locations where a user can add to
cart. Rather than create many different derived cart add metric alerts i
would prefer to have the anomoly trigger on all cart adds and have a
dashboard that drills down on the metric. This allows us to limit the
number of trigger...
It would be great to add a customer further analyze url to an alert
notification. We have much more comprehensive workspace dashboards for
analysis into alerts. it would be great if we could link directly to
them rather than the standard further analyze dashboards which are
Hello,I am trying to teach myself how to create calculated metrics using
the 1.4 api because I have to create 300 metrics, and I would prefer not
to do this manually. I have read the Github documentation here. The
challenge I am having is adding a segment that applies to all metrics
within a container. There is a comment in the documentation that
reads:"calculatedMetric": this is a wrapper around any piece of the
calculated metric definition. The only reason to use this wrapper is to
It would be really nice if there was a date range preset or default
segment that selects the current hours of the day that dynamically
updates throughout the day. For example, if its currently 10:15am, the
date range or segment would select all hours of the day from 0 to 9 (The
10am hour is not complete). Then, lets say 2 hours later, at 12:00pm,
the date range or segment would now be selecting hours of the day from
0-11. I would use this segment to power intraday 'Today' vs. '7 Days
It would be great to have a replace all "of this metric" or append
metric "to all tables" feature within a workspace panel or project. I
know there may be some limitations as it relates to existing
visualizations but it would help speed up dashboard creation and quick
analysis. I find I spend a lot of time formatting workspace tables and
visualizations to handle multiple metrics. If I could create a dash
based on a single metric that allows users to swap or append metrics
quickly it would help o...
hello sir! thanks for suggestion. We absolutely leverage merch evars and
i might be unaware of the use case you are implying. Are you saying that
merch eVar 'hit' level segments would only return the products assigned
with a given merch evar value? For example:In Hit 1, I have:s.products =
;cats;;;;eVar1=bigs.products = ;dogs;;;;eVar1=smallIf I create a hit
level segment defined as "hits where eVar1=small", would that segment
return only "dogs" or would it return both "cats" and dogs" because it
We sell multiple product categories on our site. For example: Toys,
Baby, Grocery. A user may place an order that has a product from each
category. For example:Order Revenue = 500Toys = 100Baby = 300Grocery =
100If want to see Revenue by Category, I would run a product report
against our revenue metric. Lets say I wanted to create a calculated
metric for 'Grocery Revenue'. My most granular option is this:Segment

Currently, (i think) there is no way to know if a project or workspace
is in use. It would be great to get some stats on last viewed and
possibly a visit number to show relevance. Over time, a lot of
workspaces build up and its hard to know which ones are still relevant.
Hi Jenn... I am not sure if you are referring to writing actual SQL
queries or something else - but I guess it would be similar. See below
for an example input to initiate a report block. You could either VBA
it, or just have it in cells (i think cells would be better for the
audience). FieldValueReport Suitemy.report.suiteSegmentAll VisitsDate
From:1/1/2018Date To:1/5/2018GranularityDayReportLast Touch
ChannelReport Items10DimensionDevice TypeDimension Items10MetricsVisits,
It would be great if we could design our query in excel and have the
plugin check the design for errors to create blocks. Creating report
blocks would become much faster. Given the recent enhancements to wizard
i would anticipate this to be a difficult task. Let me know.
When you drag a component into a segment definition there is no
reference to the variable (i.e. eVar1) it refers to. So for
classification folders, if they do not contain the variable reference in
the friendly name (i.e. page url (v1)) you do not know. Can this be
added? I believe it was just added for components in analysis workspace
It would be great if we could:1. Delete or archive older data warehouse
requests.2. Tag requests3. More Dynamic Filter / Sort.4. Also, related
to FTP details, it would be great if you could provide the IP address
that has pinged us for debugging purposes.
About 35% of our traffic is not real and we working towards implementing
ways to filter out this traffic. One of those is the blog post
below:Advance Your Bot Filtering Powers | Adobe I am a big fan of the
idea. However, as I began implementing I realized that the Customer
Attribute Segments that are created are only compatible with the
reporting interface and not Datawarehouse. We run a ton of reporting
through data warehouse. Can we please add Customer Attributes / Customer
In my organization, workspace projects are shared a lot. it would be
great if we could have the option to somehow make projects visible
through search only so they do not clutter the project list. for
example, we have created a ton of "starter dashboards" for educational
purposes. this clutters the list. it would be great if they would only
show up if a user searches for them, or chooses to 'pin' it. It may also
be nice to be able to organize workspaces.
Hi Andrew,Thanks for sharing, and I was able to find this. Can you
please help with the following: 1. If I want just want to set
s.clearVars(); after any server call, what does the code look like? 2.
Once, we have the code where does it go?I found/read the same article as
you. Because I am a JS novice, I am unclear how and where to fire the
It would be great to add an s.clearVars(); option to each rule. We are
moving toward a single page app framework with multiple events firing on
a page. It would be nice to have the option to either globally or
locally set s.clearVars to rules. As of now we are manually adding it at
the top of custom code in each rule where it is required.
It would be really nice if there was a flag within the segment and
calculated metrics managers to flag duplicate components. By duplicate,
I am referring to how the segment is built, not named. This would allow
for easier management of components; i.e. trying to find duplicates
across my organization and delete them.
It would be great if components within workspace had a 'flag' or 'icon'
to show if the component is shared. To take it one step further; there
should be different flags for 'shared will all' vs. 'shared with some'.
Currently, you can click on the share button to see if the component is
shared, but that is a bunch of extra steps that i think are uneccessary.
It would be really great if we had the ability to schedule FTP Export
classfiication files. We get new values all the time in our reports. We
have to request and wait for reports to be ready. It would be great if
we could schedule these requests. I know there is an API, but we dont
necessarily have the skillset to build these applications.
It would be a nice feature if we could globally replace a component
across all tables withinin a panel where that component exists. For
example, our company has over 15,000 product categories. If I want to
build a dashboard showing one category (s.products = snack foods) I
would have to drop 'snack foods' on top of each table wihthin my
project. I am unable to use a hit segment, because the hit segment would
include other categories where 'snack foods' was present (i.e. on an
order that includes...
