OpenJDK - Adobe Experience Manager 22-06-2018
Hi,Given Oracle's recent announcement that Java SE will be moving to a subscription model for server and desktop (https://www.oracle.com/java/java-se-subscription.html), I wonder if there is any renewed interest in officially certifying AEM with OpenJDK?6.4 technical requirements currently list Oracle JVM 8/9/10 (and IBM).https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/6-4/sites/deploying/using/technical-requirements.html Phil

Re: [New] Welcome to AEM Community! Please Introduce Yourself - Adobe Experience Manager 31-05-2018
Hi, my name is Phil Gleghorn and I am a technology architect at Virtusa in the UK. I've been working with AEM for 2 years with a particular interest in devops and migrations. Prior to this I was involved for a long time with Oracle WebCenter Sites (was Fatwire/OpenMarket ContentServer) and lots of related web technology, since around 2001.Phil

If you aren't getting any logging at all to error_log, then it seems likely that apache httpd is writing all it's messages somewhere else. Do you get any messages in error_log when you remove the dispatcher .so from httpd configuration and startup apache successfully? If not, then check the ServerRoot, ErrorLog and LogLevel directives to be sure where to look for the log. if you find where httpd is writing the error log then try setting "LogLevel debug" and restart - that should make the dispatc...

Updating Image component via a rule - Adobe Experience Manager Forms 05-04-2018
Hi,I would like to add a custom rule that changes the value of an Image component on my form. I have an adaptive form that has Text boxes, Dropdown, etc and an Image component. I have used custom rules (visual rules and javascript rules) to change value of text boxes and so on, but there seems to no way to access the Image component on my form so as to update it's value. Is this possible? I'm using 6.3.1.2.Thx,Phil

Decompiling commercial software for any reason is usually prohibited by the terms of the license, whether or not you recompile. The general terms here apply, with product-specific terms in addition (UK specific, may vary for your country):http://www.adobe.com/uk/legal/terms/enterprise-licensing.html As I understand it, depending where you are in the world generally speaking it's unlikely to be illegal per-se, but doing so would put you in breach of contract and give Adobe a basis to sue if they ...
