The AEM Forms add-on which comes with adpative form features, can that be used for Adpative Forms use cases on a Production environment OR is it only for development purposes. What extra features does the AEM Forms licensed version offers?

Try adding up an excel file (referenced from DAM) as an HREF to an anchor tag. When we click on that anchor tag, it tries to open up that excel file but ends up showing corrupt content. This happens in IE 11 on AEM 6.4. Under AEM 6.2 for IE 11 the behavior was it prompted user to Open up or Save as that excel file.I tried adjusting "Safe binary Filter" and/or "Content Disposition Filter" by viewing somewhere in forums but it did not work out. Please let me know if anybody has some insights on thi...

We had taken the approach, as mentioned in the document https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/using/aem_solr.html. because it uses the SolrJ API so we also used up the same. Since we did not had enough timelines in our project to explore more on "Solr Remote Server" configuration, so we leveraged SolrJ which helped in all versions of Solr (5.x, 6.x)

yes they were getting compiled with java 7. Even though when we are building it without plugin, they are getting rendered on pages perfectly fine. Its the maven plugin which is not allowing to compile those files with java 8.

Hi,We've recently migrated from cq 5.6 to AEM 6.2 and as part of refactoring we have obtained resolver using apache user mapper service. Now since we need system users for this instead of service users, we created system users and made it part of administrators group so that it can acquire all necessary permissions. But we were only able to add groups to this system user somehow on one environment. When we tried doing same on other environment, it did not work out. To test whether this works at ...

Hi, I'm trying to integrate solr 5.5 with AEM 6.2 but it does not seems to work as per the documentation given on adobe docs: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-2/deploy/platform/queries-and-indexing.html. Moreover the documentation is relevant to integrate solr 4.x especially the commands to start solr in cloud mode. Even when i try to integrate solr 5.5 (by starting them independently & configuring them in Solr configuration) it neither picks up Solr zookeeper nor the cloud instance. Below i...

Hi NikunjI tried the same thing which you've highlighted but still seeing the same issue. If i add another component to same parsys it does not open dialog for previous one, instead it opens up dialog of last added component in that parsys.Let me know if you know about the solution.
