Re: Coordinate Text Box Size - Adobe LiveCycle 02-11-2011
That's probably a sound solution, but let me throw a wrench in there: I have a really large form that uses positioned cells. Is there any way to automate the conversion of groups of cells to a table, such that I don't have to build the whole thing from scratch (which would take hours and hours and hours)?I should mention that the form is derived from a microsoft word document, which did use tables, but I'd rather not go through the importation process again if I can help it.Thanks for the help

Coordinate Text Box Size - Adobe LiveCycle 02-11-2011
I have a set of pairs of text boxes (one for medication name, one for that medication's dose). If the user enters text on multiple lines in a given text box, the text box expands to accomodate. However, the corresponding text box in the pair does not expand. How can I ensure that each pair of text boxes always retain the same height?

Dynamic Text Boxes - Adobe LiveCycle 14-09-2011
I'm wondering whether or not it would be straightforward to accomplish the following text box:Label: _______________________________________instead ofLabel: _________________ _________________I want to create a text box that wraps around underneath the label so as to use all of the available space. Is there a built-in way to accomplish that with a single text box?If not, how can I dynamically accomplish that?

Re: PDF to the web - Adobe LiveCycle 31-08-2011
I tried the Acrobat export to HTML and nothing was arranged correctly.I think you're right in that the simplest solution will be to embed the pdf into the page itself. What exactly are my options on the submit button:Does the submit button launch an email client, or can I code the submit button to submit the content to my web server (and is it possible to automatically have the submission store the information in a sql database) ?

Re: Data Extraction from PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 29-08-2011
FormCentral seems promising, but their PDF creator is far too basic for my needs. Is it possible to use the tools with a pdf that I have created in livecycle designer?

Turning PDF into a Web Page - Adobe LiveCycle 25-08-2011
I have an extensive PDF form created with LC Designer, and I would like the form to be fillable on the internet. What is the best way to go about doing this (I do have web hosting, but don't know much when it comes to HTML or XML or XDP...)?I'd prefer cheap/free solutions whenever possible.

Re: How to insert data into a Database? - Adobe LiveCycle 18-08-2011
On the off chance that anyone is still looking at this thread, I'd love the sample form that imports data to ms access as well.ras12 AT albion.edu

Re: Data Extraction from PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 17-08-2011
I appreciate the help. I am still a novice with livecycle designer. Can you explain, in english, how a data connection works? Could you point me to any relevant tutorials? The users themselves will not be connecting to a database. The pdf's will all be saved locally on my computer, I simply need a way of automating the extraction of the data into a format that lends itself better to being searched and analyzed. Thanks

Data Extraction from PDF - Adobe LiveCycle 16-08-2011
I am creating a large PDF form that people will fill out, save, and return to us. I am wondering if there is a simple method to extract the data from the PDF and store the values in a database (excel or access).I can program in java if needed, but I'd prefer a simpler solution if one exists.
