Wish I could drop about 100 votes on this one. This would be paramount
to operation, where multiple people could have been assigned to a
project or request, but reports can only pull data on individuals
currently assigned, not previously assigned. This also is the case for
previous status', date and time.
May I just ask that if this is to be a development that we make it to
where it is "allowed / not allowed"??? Though this may work great for
many, this would actually work against our use-case. We make it
crucially important that all files, images, and documentation be placed
in the "Documents" tab. Else we have multiple places to be looking for
instructions and we have thousands of people who could be adding to any
request. (Again, I like it, I voted it up, but please make it so admins
can "not ...
Our use-case of WorkFront has been greatly configured for a production
environment where some projects take as little as 4 to 5 minutes, with
our longest projects taking a couple of hours. WorkFront seems to only
work well for projects designed for several hours, days, or weeks.
We have thousands of users in our database, many of whom decide to
"Check Out" documents. Currently we must go through each of these jobs
manually, one by one, to check in documents so that we may purge the
documents when space becomes limited or retention level has been met. We
have thousands of files that are currently "Checked Out". We have a
standing policy to never check out documents, as it is not a necessary
feature in our use-case and more of a hindrance.
