Hi @DonBarrett ,The ACS commons remote assets capability helps in keeping Dev/QA/Stage servers and websites (author and/or publish) up to date with Production assets.https://adobe-consulting-services.github.io/acs-aem-commons/features/remote-assets/index.html You can check the above link for details as it might address your use case. Hi @Alex__Canva , I am not sure about your exact use case, but I used Assets HTTP API delete method for Assets on cloud service. Below are screenshots for your reference -Request - http://localhost:4502/api/assets/1/1.pngAuthorization - Basic Authorization In case you are trying to connect to a server, replace local host with the server details. Hope it helps! Regards,Manpreet

Hi @StrawHatM23,Can you provide more details of what is your component structure and where you are adding the property? Also, where are you checking the property after deployment. On a high level, the property or the code that you are adding should be added in the codebase with or without IntelliJ from where the build is getting deployed. Regards,Manpreet

Hi Nishant, You can also explore the IMS login support for AEM as cloud service - https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-cloud-service/security/ims-support.html?lang=en Using IMS, your customers will be able to use their own SAML 2 compliant Identity Providers (IDP) for Single Sign On. Hi Team, Thanks for the great article! I was wondering if we have any interface to track the progress of asset microservices? To elaborate, for one of our clients we migrated some thousand assets using the OOTB bulk import tool. The assets were migrated however the asset status was stuck in "processing" for few days. Though we inferred that the asset microservices were still processing for these migrated assets, we had absolutely no way to conclude this with certainty. Also, it was not possible ...

Hi,This looks like a custom code implementation. Based on the attached log snippet, it looks like SetVariableProcess is null. This might be invoked from the java file SetVariableProcess. Also, you can check if the JSON data is getting stored at the node where the code is expecting to read this data.

Hi,You can refer to https://experienceleague.adobe.com/docs/experience-manager-65/assets/managing/download-assets-from-aem.html?lang=en and try to disable the asset download servlet. If you don't want to show only the download button, you can try to add deny permissions for the download node (or preferably higher level hierarchy) as per your user group. Eg. deny for /libs/dam/gui/content/assets/jcr:content/actions/selection/download Regards,Manpreet

Thanks for your response Kimon! Is there any logic according to which AEM manipulates the paths which we can incorporate in script or maybe directly in excel? As I mentioned, we observed that AEM modified the paths in not so generic fashion. We could identify easy ones like replacing " " with "_" but the problem occurred mostly at the 3rd or 4th level of path hierarchy inside the asset folder. Sometimes the space was removed completely and appended together for example "version_sent_to_abc_with_...

I was aware that only few limited ACS commons features are cloud compatible. Even the cloud manager pipeline reports sonar quality issues when we attempt to deploy ACS commons to AEM cloud instances.

Thanks for your response! We are using Assets as a cloud and don't have DAM Update Asset workflow. We have already disabled other workflows to reduce system impact. We are not using ACS commons currently as it is not supported by cloud and in case it has a significant performance over AEM operations, I was planning to explore it with our cloud instance. Do advice in case you have any other suggestion for us. Regards,Manpreet

Hi Team, We have a use case in our project and need to move close to 100k assets to a different folder. We tried using AEM OOTB move functionality but it is extremely slow. I wanted to understand - ACS Commons Refactor is efficient than AEM OOTB operations of move, delete etc.?What are the other benefits/use cases of using ACS refactor.ACS Commons Refactor is not supported by AEM Assets as Cloud. Any other suggestion that we could have utilized here? Thanks,Manpreet

Hi @diksha_mishra, My apologies, I completely missed your reply. We have not customized collections and were able to narrow down this issue further. It was occurring with few locally created AEM users only. Such users have the right permissions to access assets and collections and were able to create collections when they were created some 2 weeks before this issue occurred. Strangely, it kind of looks like these users got corrupted even though there was no manual modification on such users. Als...

Hi Team,We are using ACS as a cloud service and deployed build on the higher (stage) env using cloud manager. The build is successful but the content package is not getting deployed. There is no error in the log file and this same build including the content package was successfully deployed in the lower (dev) env. I also investigated the build deployment logs and could notice that our content package was part of the "all" package but I am unable to figure out why it is not deployed. Any pointer...

Thanks for your response. We are actually following this approach already. But the challenge is that because we have extremely high number of assets, this manual activity of correcting paths is taking a long time and effort. I am looking at any automation or any suggestion which can expediate this process for us.

Hi Team,We migrated assets from Microsoft azure to AEM as a cloud instance using the bulk import feature. The assets are populated in AEM but the folder structure and asset names are modified by AEM in processing while upload. Apart from the general rules such as replacing special character and space with encoding and underscore, there are a lot of additional manipulation which we are not able to generalize. For eg. path of the azure asset "version_sent_to_abc_with_stamp" is converted in AEM as ...

Hello Team, We are working on an asset migration project from repos to AEM. The assets will be migrated to ACS however the existing site is available on AMS which will eventually be consuming these assets. I am trying to understand if there is a possibility of supporting the existing Adobe managed services (AMS) site with this ACS DAM? If yes, how we can achieve it technically? Also, in future eventually the site will also move to ACS and if this mixed setup (if possible) can cause any potential...
