Hi,We have currently implemented DTM in this way tag) on all the pages--> tag) on all the pages--> _satellite.pageBottom(); As a result when i load my home page i can see mutliple instances of the DTM js file (satellite-*.js)This is having an impact on the performance of the home page. What can we do to reduce the number of calls made to load the DTM js file?

HiWe are using AEM6 Sites We have implemented a custom importer where we are pulling data from social channels into AEM. We require the content pulled from the social channels to be moderated by an administrator in the author instance before it gets published. Can we use the moderation UI in Adobe communities with some customisation to achieve our requirement? Or this requires an additional licence to AEM sitesMODERATION UI - http://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/administer/social-communities/mo...

HiI have a custom component button created in CQ ( CQ5.5). We are planning to use CQ5.5 with DTMThe custom button component being modular, can be used anywhere across the site, or even within the same page. We need to populate a data layer attribute which captures where in the page(which section) and which page the component is dropped. The question i have is who's responsibility is to capture the information which defines the section where the component is used in the page. Is this something tha...

Great! Data Layer is clearRegarding custom events such as lets say click of one of the social links. Do we implement something like ?Code generate by componentSocial Linkcreate a JS external file which is included in each pagethis.trackClickInteraction = function() {..........s.tl(....);}Does the above seem like a reasonable solution? Do we need to include onClick event and s.tl call, or DTM uses a different mechanism to capture custom events?

Thanks for the replyWe are currently on an older version, CQ.5.5 . The aim is to 'somehow' populate the data layer, so the information populated are passed on to DTMWhat i need to find out is how i populate the data layer object and also how do we send custom events to DTMPreviously with direct sytecat integration we would fire event tracking by using adv.trackEvent from s_code. How can we 1) Populate and send data layer to DTM2) Fire event tracking i.e. similar to sytecat adv.trackEvent

Thanks for the valuable replyI want to understand how we can pass DTM variables. I'm assuming the DTM variables are part of the DataLayer object Will this be done at component level? So each component populates the variables from the DataLayer that it needs to populateCan you please share a code snippet if available that shows how to populate the DTM variables? Thanks in advance

Thanks gents for the responseCan my "Site B" get the HTML live from the CQ repository i.e. by making an AJAX call to CQ sling servlet, or the latency will be too long to try and render the CQ content on page load of "Site B"The other alternatives i guess will be 1) CQ custom service to push published content(JSON/XML) on replication. My "site B" picks up the JSON of the newly published content from i.e. a relational database, or filesystem2) pull the published CQ content at certain intervals. Th...

Hi,I'm dynamically generating a navigation component by retrieving all child pages of a parent page. The component takes the parents path as an input. I have a requirement where the user wants to be able to change the order that the navigation links(tabs) appear. Each tab in the navigation corresponds to each childPageAny suggestions on how to implement this use case, keeping the navigation component driven by path?

How can i uniquely identify an author? Will using a UUID and creating a tag with the UUID be the best option, or using a name and ansuring that each Author name+surname is unique be more appropriate?

Hi AllI'm aware that there is an in-place upgrade from CQ5.6.1 to Aem6. There is also an in-place upgrade from CQ5.3 to CQ5.6.1. Does this mean that if we want to upgrade from CQ5.3 we have to use the in-place upgrade to CQ5.6.1 first then use the in-place upgrade from CQ5.6.1 to AEM6? Or is there a tool which will allow us to upgrade from CQ5.3 to AEM6 directly?

We have triggered a rename of the content repository from content/mycontent/home to content/mycontent/home1. I believe this is the wrong approach as we should have used move instead. Now the 'rename' process is taking extremely long time to complete. Is it possible ti kill the rename process somehow and what will be the impact in the repository of doing so?
