Hi,I am trying to use the Form container v2 component in AEM 6.3.3.0. Right now I am trying this on one of the pages in We.Retail. Here is what I have done so far:1) Created a proxy component extending the Form Container component.2) Pulled that component on the page. 3) First thing I noticed, it is not easy to locate the form container component on the page. I had to go to the content tree to be able to locate the component. Now, when I try to add any other form components (like text field, opt...

The request to /product gets rewritten to /products/. I can understand, I am out of ideas too. I tried everything. debugging the virtual hots configuration to dispatcher but nothing seems to resolve this issue.Thank you for looking into this issue and apologies for it took a lot of your time.

The problem is even if I comment out all the rules the /products still somehow gets converted to /products/ 1) Your screenshot of the browser suggests that /products is redirected to /products/ That is correct2) You posted a log extract, which shows that /products is being rewritten to /content/aemsite/en/products.html 3) You posted a log extract, which indicates, that /products/ cannot be handled. I have been trying a lot of rules to make it work. The log extract must have been due to that. Sor...

The logging was already enabled for mod_rewrite but it was somehow not able to log anything. I fixed that issue and put the rules you had provided in place. What happening was that /articles/ would get converted to /articles/.html due to the /articles being turned to /articles/. So, I modified the rules a bit :# Define virtual host for aemsite.com ServerAdmin webmaster@localhost ServerName aemsite.com DocumentRoot "C:\Apache2.2\htdocs" DirectorySlash Off RewriteEngine On RewriteLog "C:\Apache2.2...

I was looking to use OSGi DS annotations that's why I didn't use the @SlingServlet annotation. Do you think I should use the Felix SCR annotations for POSTrequest??

And if the resourceType wasn't correct it would have never worked for GET request either.

Never meant I found a solution. Was just an observation. The /content/aemsite/en/subscribe is made using an editable template and the resource type is set to aemsite-project/components/structure/page.

The path used in action is /content/aemsite/en/subscribe.newsletters.html while the page that has the POST form is http://localhost:4502/editor.html/content/aemsite/en/subscribe.html Since this is an AJAX call I have selected the path in action to be /content/aemsite/en/subscribe.newsletters.html while 'newsletters' is the selector. Is there something I am doing wrong here ?

I suspected if there is a problem with the servlet itself or the action path set in the HTML but it all works fine when I use the GET method. It's only when it's a POST request when I am facing this issue. These are the dependencies I have added to the project i, can any of these libraries pose issue ?cq.jquerygranite.utilsgranite.jquerygranite.sharedcq.sharedunderscore

I get your point Ratna. Not sure if it is the specific version of filevault that is causing the issue to happen. But I have tried it on different machines and it caused the same issue. I am definitely going to use AEM plugin to sync. Thanks for the help smacdonald2008 Rajashankar and Ratna Kumar

Thank you Ratna. I have done this too and I am aware that it works. However, once you configure the filevault with this project using vlt --credentials admin:admin checkout -f ../META-INF/vault/filter.xml --force http://localhost:4502/crx things change. Do you suggest I should stop using fievault completely ? How would you advise I should export the components created in CRXde to eclipse or the local filesystem ?

Hi Rajashankar,Here is the filter.xml Do you think I am missing something here ?I am using Eclipse neon, and the eclipse vault plugin doesn't work on this version. So, I am using the filevault through command line to export the component to local filesystem. Can you please let me know what version of eclipse you are using ?Also, even if somehow I get the vault plugin to work, it is expected that the maven build installs everything. I am not sure if this is filevault messing things up or somet...

I have completed the article successfully and used lazybones to create the project. Normally, I create the components, clientlibs etc in CRXde and then export them to local filesystem/eclipse and commit it to GIt. I checked out the project from Git on a different machine, did a maven build in the hopes of seeing all my components/templates etc in CRXd which didn't happen. Only the project structure with empty folders got deployed to CRXde. To look further into the issue, I created a test compone...

Thank you for the response. I have created the project using the same steps. Although, I would expect the build process to install all the content in CRXde. Currently, only the project folder structure is being deployed to the CRXde, all the components, clientlibs, editable templates etc, none of them gets installed to CRXde. This is the issue I am facing. When I do the Maven build through eclipse/cmd prompt, all it does is it install the project structure with folders minus any components, temp...
