Kautuk, I'm using AEM 6.0 and the website component form to get user inputed data, not the "AEM Forms" adaptative one or something like that. Also, the Purge workflow of a node children nodes I need to implement is kind of AEM general use, right? Anyway, thanks for move it out to the right section. Hoping the experts can help 🙂

Hi, how are you? It's not possible to do with custom script in the hidden data component as I've tried? If not, care to elaborate how would I do this on the form component code so that when a visitor submit a form, I'll get the date as part of the user generated content? Thanks very much.

Hello guys. So, I'm storing a form data my visitors fill in AEM, using the Store Content action on my form. However, I need to clean this user generated data periodically, so my user can get reports every month with just that month data.Is there an easy way to do this? The optimal way would be to inform a path in a workflow and the it would delete everything below this node. I've already explored some of the ootb workflows and couldn't achieve this goal (there is one that delete content, but a nod...

Sakshij, You can't download the .jar file by common means/channels. The way to get it is asking your channel/account manager on Adobe if you are a partner, or to download it from the partner portal, If I'm not mistaken (a lot of time since I don't use it). If you are a client, you should talk to you service provider about it. I believe that the application is only avaliable to Adobe clients and partners.

Hello guys, I've been working with Adobe AEM for some years now, since CQ5.4. I've always did the architecture and business planning along some small developments, deploys or customizations. However, my goal now is to be a better developer on AEM. To achieve this goal, I realize that I should learn some complementary technologies that are all around AEM source and structure and are needed to develop components, templates, bundles and services inside AEM. So, my question for the AEM community is:...

John,Thanks for your time and help, but I believe that this is not the cause or the solution for the contentSync issue.I have builded and installed the Geometrixx App by PhoneGap as instructed, but the problem is the same, and thinking about, I don't think that the contentSync are directly envolved with how AEM or PhoneGap build the app. @ALL: anyone achieved to get content changes in Authoring synced with an mobile app? Even if with Geometrixx, can anyone make this work as it is out-of-the-box?...

Hello everybody. I'm trying to use and understand the new AEM features like Apps with Phonegap, but with some problems. To begin with, the Content Sync. So, here is my situation:- I'm building the Geometrixx Outdoors Apps (from the page English) via PhoneGap Build [selecting this "page" of the app and clicking on "Build Remote", after configuring my PhoneGap cloud service];- Then, I download the .apk from my PhoneGap account and install it on a mobile Android Device;- When I open it on my Android...

Orotas, thanks for the response. This probably works, I've already used a similar approach to generate json content, however, as an selector based script, someone someday has to access an url with the selector to trigger the creation of the file, right? There is no way to get one template to automatically create a file in the JCR when someone assign a page to it?

Hi Sham, Thanks for the replying, but in my case the files need to be created dynamicaly, everytime a new page is created using one specific template, in a specific and diferent path everytime. So, it can't be a existing file.

The text file will be a robots.txt file, for SEO purposes. So, it need to be on publish server. However, this file need to be automaticaly created everytime the user creates a new site using the, for example, "Home with robot" template. Is there a better way to achieve this?

So, I tought about put this code in a component .jsp file and then including this component on this specific template. My two questions is: can someone give me a sample code of simply creating a .txt file somewhere in the content repository (/content/files, for example) to be used on a component? And, is this the correct/best way to achieve what I want to achieve...

Hello everyone, Simples doubt here, my custom data (like products, custom customer info like some preferences about the application, etc.) should be stored where on the JCR?To start with, I think about /content or /etc, maybe /etc makes more sense, as in /content there is user content created by the wcm/sites/interaction with cms mechanics or input via components. Is there some best practice about this?I'm talking about a PhoneGap App, just to share. Thanks very much,Matheus Barreto.

Yes, I did.Notice that this page is about Adobe CQ 5.4, and only have info on Geometrixx login functionality. I have created a user login on Geometrixx and coudn't find it anywhere in the content repository (even with a query on the email provided). So, even with the links to other pages (and I did read those pages, eg. Closed Groups or Personalization) unfortunately, this page doesn't helped me 😞
