just like the way you can output node content using .xml suffix to a url, you can write some selector which outputs text in html format for your component jsp. (you cannot output image, so give a reference path to image etc). >>"blog sneak peak" component that can go on any page and links to the whole blog post.its not clear what you mean by component can go any page ... if you are referring to an author utility component which author can use to link another post then you can go on implementing ...

against which domain is your user getting authenticated ? it's not clear .. is your custom authentication handler showing up in http://localhost:4502/system/console/slingauth# ? Have you created your user in CQ and added the user to group which has content permissions ? OTB Access permissions are very limited .. you will have to check this ..

Dear All,I get lot of spam mails from AEM forum every day particularly the ones in Arabic. Please find attached screen shot. But when check them on web I see them they are already deleted. Looks like it is a work of anonymous user/users.Can Adobe provide some spam protection ? It will be waste of time managing those mails and possibly miss out onsome important discussions. Hi ,I believe it is happening as the page is getting launched .. for e.g. have a look at the " diskusage " component located at /libs/cq/reporting/components/diskusage.The /libs/cq/reporting/components/diskusage/diskusage.jsp is creating the table .. (look at the function updateUI) ..in this case the whole query is handled in jsp by traversing through the nodes .. you may not customize existing reports .. but choose to create one of your own ..you may also write an scr component and implement yo...

I did a quick search on this .. the users are stored in /home/users/v/venu.gummadala/profile (e.g.) ..Also I found that there is no (corresponding) node defined for 'gender' along the lines of 'familyname', 'givenName', 'email' etc ..However, if I search on 'gender' in crxde, I do get results for gender, which are defined in the profile I guess .. which explains why it is shown & not saved ..I'm also attaching the screenshot for your reference ..There can be another reason why your data doesn't ...

are you planning to change the 'access' dynamically at runtime ..never tried this before but you may have two groups one for all levelsand one for 'restricted' pages .. then move users from group a to b.If it is just about creating 'groups' with script, treat them as normal nodesand make sure you have set the mandatory properties as per the api.- Venu Gummadala

your servlet may not be implmenting the sling SCR annotations .http://sling.apache.org/documentation/the-sling-engine/servlets.htmlthere are two ways to do this ..1) as a component .. where your servlet gets called all the time and you implement your logic in doPost()2) write an osgi bundle and run it as a mail service to reference it later- Venu Gummadala

1) you may need to install patch updates or use 5.6.12) check if Scene7 supports CQ5.53) check if successful login helpful ..most probably its a version compatibility/patch issue ..- Venu Gummadala

if you want images of varying sizes in real-time you may please use Scene7 .. it is cloud based and you can just include the resolution required in request parameters .. Scene7 delivers it for you. As it is cloud based, it won't impact your local DAM
