Dear All,I have a drop down populated with ID and Name according to another drop down.It works fine until the PDF is processed, then this drop down displays the ID not the Name.what could be the reason for that ...Best regards

Hello PaulI tried you example and it works perfect for tables not subform.I tried this:xfa.form.resolveNode(" form1.page1.Sub_a.lottary.Row1").access = "readOnly";and evenform1.page1.Sub_a.lottary.Row1[0].access = "protected";but in avail, any commentBest regards

Hello Paul,Thanks for your reply, What I actually want is not to hide the row or the subform, but to keep it visibleand inaccessible to the end-user (disabled/grayed out) if possible.Thanks and best regards

Hello Paul, I tried to set values to subform using a global function called at the change event of the drop down as follows:function calcTax(currRow){var ii = form1.Page1.CommoditySection.Commodities.resolveNode("CommodityTax["+currRow+"]").rawValue;app.alert(ii);}whenever I call the function it doesn't execute ... unless you are at the first row...How to correct this.Best regards
