Re: How to hide/disable publish/unpublish option in touch UI for AEM 6.1 for certain groups - Adobe Experience Manager 22-02-2018
Durga, as I observed workflows sit in admin queue only if user do not have full delete access. On sidekick user see 'Delete Page' option (n there is no easy way to hide that). The way we overcame this problem in our system: Created a custom 'Delete workflow' and have user submit workflow instead of clicking 'Delete Page' on sidekick. You can either have authorized people approve or automatically delete with a notification (that can be used for audit purpose).Delete workflow w/o approval:Delete wo...

DAM MetaData Writeback created 8500+ STALE workflows within 30 mins - Adobe Experience Manager 28-07-2016
One of the user uploaded a mp4 video onto author and it triggered more than 200 pages STALE workflows on workflow console within half hour. Then it kind of stopped by itself I think.1. Terminating so many workflows manually on the workflow console is so time consuming. Any way to terminate with fewer clicks or on CRXDE?2. To avoid in future is there a way to set file types for DAM MetaData Writeback not to trigger?3. Even better is it good practice to turn off DAM MetaData Writeback completely?

Finally received response from daycare. Below is the process they suggested:Use CRX explore: http://localhost:4504/crx/explorer/index.jspClick Content Explore -> Security -> Access Control Editor. This tool will allow you to remove ACL from a node.Keep in mind, OOTB you cannot remove ALL users ACL

Re: Delete user do not delete rep:policy - Adobe Experience Manager 08-02-2016
Kautuk, unfortunately move did not work. Received 409 (conflict) errors. Says node is protected. Logged in as 'admin' id.I'm trying to move only node 'rep:DenyACE' not entire 'rep:policy'.

Re: Delete user do not delete rep:policy - Adobe Experience Manager 07-02-2016
To delete the Node, create a regular Node somewhere - lets call it "delete_me". Now move the rep:policy Node under "delete_me". Now delete "delete_me". That's a brilliant idea. Thank you Kautuk. What should be the primary type of 'delete_me'? Am I allowed to move deny rules under non- rep:policy node? Will give a try and let you know.

Lokesh,Thank you for response. When I try to delete as suggested, I get error message 'Node is protected'. I'm logged in under my id, who is part of administrators group.
