We did figure this out. I didn't realize that the Layout template had show/hide options. So, although both project managers use the same template, one had somehow accidentally hidden the Queue Details.

I'm trying to create a Gantt chart of my project portfolio but the Gantt column labels are not showing correctly. They only show "Q" in the Yearly view, and nothing in the monthly view. Is there a setting somewhere I'm missing?     

Yes, we do have the originating issue. I hadn't thought about re-converting to a project. I think that may do the trick for us.
