Thanks a lot. So to brief.Connection details for multiple Database to be configured in JDBC pooling, and JAVA class add the Datasource name to the datasource object and get the connection. I don't have to worry about the the database url and username/password as its already taken care in JDBC pooling. Also at the end in finally block, just close the connection. Please correct if am wrong.

But how to get these objects. Is it via PID, i need to get the req object. One more thing, i tried by just passing different data source to data connection object it worked. Never mapped the Database1Config to any pool. Just configured 2 database details in JDBC Pool. Is it fine?Below is code snippet public Connection getConnection(ConfigurationAdmin configAdmin, DataSourcePool dataSourceService, DataSource, dataSource) { LOGGER.info("In getConnection method "); Connection connection = null; Str...

Hi All,As per my knowledge on Reverse replication functionality has be removed in 6.1. Any alternate way to handle reverse replication. I hope programatic way ie by updating the last modified, last modifed by and cq:distribute true still holds good in 6.1 for reverse replication process.Any detailed information on this would be helpful. Thanks,Sagar Kumar

If in the case of 65000 users required in publish for CQ login in an application, any restriction on no of user can be created under a node so that performance is not hit while login?

My use case is have a launcher that activates, once an Asset is uploaded, the the problem here is my launcher completes before the DAM asset update, hence the renditions are not moved to publish. Any suggestions will be very helpful.

Hi All,We have a requirement where a launcher has to wait for another launcher to complete. The scenario is when an asset(It might be a pdf or document) is added under a DAM path, first the DAM Update Asset launcher has to run followed by my launcher.Currently my launcher completes before default DAM Update Asset launcher, hence getting issues with renditions. Is there any way to set an order of the launchers?Any solution will be very helpful. I am using AEM 5.6 version.

Bundle in felix has export package value ie all package services are exported. The package name has been added in pom file as well. Today again rebuilt the whole project again and uploaded the bundle via felix console. It started working. Thanks to everyone. This happens frequently. Any suggestions/things or steps to keep in mind while creating a service or calling service from JSP to avoid this issue in future as am not able to find out the root cause yet.

edubey wrote... I am assuming your code is working fine and bundle is in active state. If its your local publish, try recompiling jsp again using the approach suggested here.. http://adobeaemclub.com/unable-to-recompile-cq5-jsp/ Tried the approach, but still the facing the same issue..

We have requirement where once SAML authentication is done, it should not redirect to the Default Redirect as highlighted in attachment, but it should redirect to the Page/URL that we hit in the beginning. But CQ5 SAML functionality is irrespective of what the URL is hit, once SAML authentication is done, it redirects to Default Redirect url specified in the SAML Configuration as shown below. To be specific on our flow, If the user is not authenticated, the control is redirected to a login page v...

My requirement is to sort and display the page title of the pages based on last Published date in component present in another page. So tried by adding the "cq:lastReplicated" in the orderby dropdown of the "LIST" component. Activated the component and the one of the pages which I want to be in the first of my list. But still its not sorting. Am i missing something??
