Is # are restricted character in Workfront? - Workfront 21-03-2022
We used in in our Updates for example #Install date, but I am unable to use the Ctrl F feature to find "#install" how ever I am able to find "install".. The same is true of Notes reports.

Re: tag / group / categorize object updates - Workfront 22-02-2022
This is an awesome idea. We end up including things like #blocked so that Product Owners/Manager can find tasks that are blocked and work to resolve them. It is clumsy at best.

Is it possible to add a customer field to the Updates/Notes section? - Workfront 17-11-2021
I'd like to be able to identify the note as belonging to a category for reporting purposes, for example, meeting notes, blocked, priority, etc. Today we mimic this by putting a #xxx in the body of the update then then search for notes that "contain" the hash tag, but this is clumsy at best.

Maintain Home Group on Historical hours - Workfront 04-10-2021
As WF users move from one home group A to B as a result of a position change, we would like to keep the hours they entered during their time in Home Group A there, rather than having them move to Home Group B when we change the home group on their profile. Is there a way to do this with out "fudging" their email address and creating a new profile?

Does anyone have score card examples that they are using to score project requests and are willing to share? - Workfront 17-05-2021
We are starting our Demand Management journey and are considering the use of score cards to help us "make sure the cream rises to the top." Anything you are willing to share that we can learn from will be much appreciated.

Re: Does anyone use Plans and Initiatives to manage Agile Products and their backlogs? - Workfront 11-05-2021
That is precisely where we are - WF is our enterprise management tool. DevOps doesn't really give us any visibility there. We are embarking on a full blown demand and resource planning initiative. One of the questions emanating from that initiative is can we use WF instead of DevOps without giving up critical agile functionality. I am the WF champions and as luck would have it I am also the product owner for a new agile product that we will be standing up in the near future. I am game for piloti...

Re: Does anyone use Plans and Initiatives to manage Agile Products and their backlogs? - Workfront 11-05-2021
Jane - we currently use DevOps - ideally we'd like to move our agile teams to WF, but there is resistance from our Agile center of excellence. I am part of a small team that is trying to outline a means of moving from one to the other. One of the highest pain points is prioritization of epics, features and user stories (projects, tasks and subtasks). DevOps allows the product owner to drag and drop items to reprioritize. I haven't been able to find a way to do that in a traditional backlog - but...

Does anyone use Plans and Initiatives to manage Agile Products and their backlogs? - Workfront 11-05-2021
I am looking for a way to manage an Agile Product backlog without releasing all of the projects in the backlog to the team. Wondering if I could make the backlog a Plan and the initiatives the projects. This would let me prioritize the Projects/Initiatives sequentially and convert them to an actual Project when they are ready for the team to pull into their sprints...
