One of the issues we are having is getting page names to show correctly. The current implementation is actually been set to attempt to create page name by parsing the URL. What is the consensus or best practices for collecting page names? Can the implementation be set up to collect page name from meta title within the web page HTML?

Quick question... When the base Adobe Analytics tag (JavaScript) is placed on a web page, what else is needed?- What does the client dev team need do?- What is the process for getting the (web pages) data to interface with Adobe Analytics- Do they write something that communicate with the DOM?I am trying to fully understand the process. Is there documentation that I can be pointed to? Thanks!

They all wee helpful in a round about way. However, I am not sure any particular one was better than the others. They helped me confirm that I had a few choices, neither was perfect, I now know the pros and cons.

I agree... I did also create an SEO traffic metric based upon that dimension. However, my concern was that we may not have the properly defined for paid search and that it might be included. I was looking at Eric Matisoff's Adobe Analytics for Dummies and he mentions being "natural search" being a good alternative.

That makes sense. Do you agree that would be an extremely small amount of visitors?

Just as an FYI, we are currently working closely with Adobe. They are reviewing our install of Adobe Analytics and will be letting us know where we can improve. Thanks to all who responded to my original question. Best Regards!

Hey quick question... I thought I would reach out to you all to confirm a theory. 1. If I create a report with a free-form table2. Select the "Natural Search" from within the "Marketing Channel" dimension3. Perform a break down of "Page URL" dimension... And another4. Break down by "Exit Link" dimension5. Using "Unique Visitors" as the metric MY QUESTION... Is Adobe Analytics sophisticated enough to provide me the "Exit Links" that are only associated with "Natural Search"? What I am trying to s...

Understood, but is there a way to turn the capture off for only that particular set of URLs or that web asset? If not I need another solution.

Are there any circumstances where Adobe Analytics will attach a query string to a URL? I am investigating a situation where we are using SharePoint to create an Intranet site. The user is creating pages and sometimes editing them. When we look at the results in Adobe Analytics we are seeing the URLs with parameters. I have attached a screen shot.

What about when all the columns are zero? I even excluded entries that were less than 1. I would post an image but don't know how. LOL

I did not have admin access to use classifications so I opted for creating segments. This was very helpful and I greatly appreciate it!

I keep getting these "0" value rows in my free form table. I have tried creating a segment that excludes visits or page views if they are not "greater than zero". Has anyone ever had this issue? Is this possibly related to our implementation of Adobe Analytics? I have already tried adding the page view or visits metric exclusion in my segment, but it is not working (i.e. page view is greater than 0).

Is there a way to customize a free form table to summarize/combine a group of URLs with parameters such as Facebook and show them as one entry? I want to be able to do this within Adobe Analytics workspace area and not have to export the data. Is using Page name the only other option?

Thanks for replying... We actually have a tool on the way that will achieve most of the above. My concern is whether or not we have done the implementation/setup in a manner that maximizes getting the most out of the tool. I want to know if our "Out-of-The-Box" set up would grade well.

At the time we rolled out Adobe Analytics for our company, we created a custom segment to filter out internal traffic. The way we did this was to identify the what we thought were the internal IP's in the company and then exclude those using an IP dimension we created. We recently made a change to this segment and noticed that excluding the additional IP addresses resulted in 1-10% decrease in our external traffic, which we kind of expected. Is there another way that we could have done in stead ...

Has anyone ever worked with Adobe to have them evaluate or perform an audit of their Adobe Analytics implementation? I am curious if such a thing is possible and what the results were as well as what recommendations came of it that you can share at a high level. Thanks.

How do I create a Fallout visualization when by pages (URLs) are in four different report suites and there is no universal report suite?
