Re: Get ONLY the marketing channel detail that was the last touch in a visit (deduped) - Adobe Analytics 05-05-2022
I am not aware of a clean way to easily do this, for the reason that @Jennifer_Dungan initially pointed out. There are fringe situations where users are going to have two (or more) marketing channels that will be associated with their visit. Visit, by definition, will include any Marketing Channel (or detail) seen during that visit and so your total will never match since the total is deduped. The way to get the number you are looking for would be to have an event that occurs on the last page of...

Re: Marketing channel attribution - Adobe Analytics 13-04-2022
Makes sense on #1.For #2 I'd look at the logic to set SEO. I'm not sure if you are doing that in the data collection code or more through the Marketing Channels setup in the Admin console. It's possible that the SEO value could be getting set subsequent to users coming to the site and that could account for what you are seeing. Best of luck!

Re: Marketing channel attribution - Adobe Analytics 12-04-2022
Here, you have a few different considerations going on which could be contributing to the numbers you are seeing. You have started with the URL and then breaking down by the tracking code. Is this URL representing the landing page or the confirmation page? It shows all the Form Completions being associated with that page so is it possible there is another page associated with the form completions for these other tracking codes? Also, are you able to look at just the tracking code report without t...

Re: Output one line for multiple cells - Adobe Analytics 11-04-2022
It is possible, but there would be a bit of customization that would need to be done in order to do what you are looking for. A couple of options come to mind:Similar to another question you asked, this could be a situation where you could use Classifications to combine the /business/account/ and /business/onlinebank/ into a single value which could then be trended.Another option would be to create a calculated metric which would combine the values from /business/account and /business/onlinebank...

Re: Combining two Relative URLs values into one - Adobe Analytics 11-04-2022
While not a perfect solution, if I am correctly understanding your question, one option would be to leverage Classifications to associate both the /old/ and /new/ URLs with a single value. It has some inherent challenges in that depending on the specifics, it could be something you would need to manually maintain unless there was perhaps a programmatic way to associate the values, in which case the Classification Rule Builder may be an option. I'd start by reviewing the concept of Classification...

Date Comparisons in Analysis Workspace: Feedback Needed! - Adobe Analytics 05-04-2022
Hello Analytics Community!I know there has been some discussion over the last few years on doing better date comparisons within Analysis Workspace (YoY, MoM, WoW, etc.). There was an enhancement put in a while ago to allow the graphs to appropriately display the compared dates.I'm hoping to gather some feedback about what would be most beneficial for our users and understand what will make this more useful and easier for you to get to answers regarding these comparisons. Please feel free to leave...

Re: Does Adobe WorkSpace track your domain usage - Adobe Analytics 04-04-2022
Analysis Workspace does not automatically filter out internal traffic. However, there are a few different ways to address this:Exclude by IP Address - this allows you to filter out traffic from certain IP Addresses within your organization (or other situations you identify as needing to filter out). All hits from entered IP Addresses will be automatically filtered out of reports. More details can be found under the article Exclude IP Addresses.Create an exclude segment using the Domain variable ...

Re: Percentage of total in breakdowns instead of percent of breakdown total in Workspace - Adobe Analytics 04-04-2022
I don't believe there is an easy way to display the % for the total within the breakdowns as you are describing. However, if you have a limited set of values that the team is most interested in, you could create calculated metrics utilizing segments for each type (i.e. Google Chrome 99.0, Desktop, Windows 10, etc.)You could then take that and apply the filter to a calculated metric, dividing that value by the total number of unique visitors. It would be a custom metric for each variation, so not...

Re: Time spent on page - bucketed. Total number differs from the total number of visits. Why? - Adobe Analytics 01-04-2022
Adobe Analytics isn't able to calculate time spent in situations where that page is the last hit that occurs during a visit, although we are able to determine that someone had visited the page. That's likely where the difference in the 156 and the 224 is coming from (i.e. visits where that page is the last page of a visit). You may have already seen this, but here is a helpful article on Time Spent that goes into more detail on how it is calculated.

Re: Year on Year Change in Analysis Workspace - Adobe Analytics 01-04-2022
Would anyone be open to having a conversation about the specifics of how they would like to see this work? We are revisiting this and I'd like to better understand how this would ideally work for you.
