Let me add one relevant question here:We have a handful of custom page property dialogs for templates in 5.6.1. These do not show out in touch UI siteadmin. So, how can we quickly port these to show in Touch UI so that users can change properties effectively in Touch UI sites.html and also in the classic sidekick UI when editing?

So, the simple question is how to set the tracker object name for any event rule for Google Analytics

We run two property IDs on our pages (global and local). The local one is set via:var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(["siteTracker._setAccount", "UA-XXXXXX-YY"]); _gaq.push(["siteTracker._setAllowLinker", true]); _gaq.push(["siteTracker._setDomainName", ".domain.con"]); _gaq.push(["siteTracker._trackPageview"]);We are trying to add event rules to send to siteTracker instead of the default tracker. How do we do this in AEM?

We have a legacy pattern in links that we need to parse into a Google Analytics call.LinkThere are unlimited numbers of these links.I can envision using Data Elements to populate the tracker, but don't know how to add a global element that can be used for events like this. Any ideas on how to do this in DTM?

If I understand, we would populate a data element based on a URL or DOM element on the page then write a JS routine to look up a value. I guess we could put a page property on each page that was inheritable. The property could be put into a JSON object on the page and read into a data element directly with no DTM JS coding. Would that work?

On every AEM page we put a global Google Analytics property ID and for many subdomains/subdirectories we place a local site ID in addition. Google Tag Manager uses a lookup table to map page urls to variables. We need to setup something like this in DTM. What is the best way to do this?

I am sorry for the very delayed reply. We looked at the options and there are a few. A good one is building robust rules on DTM to deliver at the URL level, but for a few reasons we went another route. We use two cloud services for each site. We leverage ACS Commons to easily do this.1. Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager config for the global ID that we place on our global homepage. This is inherited on everything.2. Generic Analytics Snippet config for each site that places the additional GA variables fo...

I tried one approach where I added a dept level DTM Property and setup another AEM DTM config, but I can't add two configs from the same service to an AEM page.

We have a global property ID and site level IDs and I'm looking for the best way to implement.Examples that need to be covered:www.domain.com - property ID 1www.domain.com/dept1 - property ID 1 + property ID 2dept2.domain.com - property ID 1 + property ID 3The scripts on the page should not duplicate Google Analytics code, it should simply send 1 or more property IDs in the single call. I have tried using rules to insert a second ID, but that doesn't seem to work. I don't want to have to setup a...

No. I am aware of how to setup form fields. I simply need to know what field names I need to use for creating a lead? No one knows? There is no documentation for this action type. That is this issues. Can all OOTB action type be documented please?

I"m assuming Create Lead allows a publisher to quickly add a form to add a lead to a list. So, this requires form field setup. What fields and what property names, etc. There is no guide for this. Assume this is s marketing person creating a form. How do they setup the form to work properly?

No, that is not what I meant. There are a bunch of OOTB actions with no documentation. Building custom actions is reasonably documented as you point out.

We are looking more closely at form action types and we're finding little to no documentation on these. For example, we want to quickly create a Campaign newsletter subscription form without coding. This should be action type = Create Lead. The action attributes requires a manual id be entered I assume. This should be populated by a list of lead lists at minimum. No documentation exists to tell us how to setup the fields in the form. If there is docs, can someone point us to them. If not, can we...

? We're talking about author visibility here. The only thing the news people will set is activation and deactivation. Will need more feedback to understand.

No, by policy. Nodes will be in the tree that, by policy, must not be seen by other user groups. All of this "visibility" mgmt. is done by authors and can't be a CRX or useradmin task.

Hi! I'll be more specific. News publishersCreate and activate news stories many times per dayOnce per week they create a story and and schedule the activation because the story has to be released at a certain time. No one can see the story other then the news team.Other dept publishersCreate news lists (fixed list style) from their own news stories and those from the news publishers; they need to see all activated news storiesThey cannot see or use unactivated news stories Is that better?

We have a case where we need to make a tree of nodes visible for fixed list inclusion by a variety of publishers. Some of these nodes in the tree must not be visible by these publishers. These special nodes are created on author and have a scheduled activation. How can we set read access based on activation of a node?

Very easy. You can drop the DTM container code in your WordPress header.php and footer.php templates. Simply push all your scripts and tags to those sites from a central locations.

When we paste modern tables into RTE, we see that is removed and is added to wrap the whole table. This is unacceptable markup. How do we use in our embedded tables?

We are finding a lot of usability issues with the default width of dialog widgets. We have been using:anchor="" width="160"...for various other components including text inputs and color pickers. This does not work for selection dropdown.

This use case is specifically in our tailored Text Editor that is primarily the RTE widget. We are using some plugins, but not the table one for some UX reasons. During automated migrations we have some tables coming into these RTE widgets and simply need the to stay intact. We talked to Day Care about this and received a thorough reply:---------The reported issue is a known limitation of CQ 5.6.1. The similar bug was already opened with R&D on behalf of another AEM customer. The response from o...
