AEM video upload to Vimeo - Adobe Experience Manager 08-04-2021
My requirement is to create a component which will allow upload of a video in AEM but needs to be uploaded to Vimeo and provide the video URL in AEM so that it can be sent as a JSON to another service layer. Author should be able to upload a video in an AEM page while authoring and it must not be uploaded to the AEM DAM. Instead it needs to be uploaded to Vimeo and it must fetch the Vimeo provided URL to AEM so that it can be provided in the JSON when the service layer hits the API exposed by AE...

How to hide/show fields based on checkbox in AEM 6.5? - Adobe Experience Manager 02-04-2020
Can someone please give me a step by step solution to hide show a set of fields based on checkbox in AEM 6.5? I have tried everything I could find on Google and nothing works as expected. It's ridiculous how we're up to AEM 6.5 and Adobe still hasn't provided an out of the box solution for this. And if there is an out of the box solution it's ridiculous how tough it is to find documentation for it.

How to create editable templates based on another editable template? - Adobe Experience Manager 31-05-2019
I need to create a base editable template which contains the header and footer for the site, then I need to create more editable templates for the different types of pages for the site as illustrated in the following structure:It's needs to be done in a way such that when the template author edits the base editable template, the header and footer content needs to be reflected throughout all the derived editable templates. How to create templates with components already placed? - Adobe Experience Manager 21-05-2019
I need to create a template which when used to create a page, will already have certain components placed in the page and some content will be authored. Once the page is created, the author should be able to author the existing components, delete them or add new components. Is there a way to achieve this without dynamic/editable templates? Is there a way developer can create a static template with some preexisting components and author can later modify the page created from this template?

How to disable a field in a dialog after submit? - Adobe Experience Manager 08-05-2019
I have a dropdown based on which I'm displaying some fields in a component, but after the author has selected an option and submitted the dialog once, they should not be able to change it again. If a different option needs to be selected then the component must be added again to the page and authored from the beginning. Look at the following example:The first time I open the Test Component dialog I have the freedom to select any of the 4 options, but after submitting and reopening the dialog, I ...

How to disable fields based on checkbox? - Adobe Experience Manager 28-04-2019
I need to disable some fields based on the checkbox. If the checkbox is checked, I need to disable some fields, not hide them. When the checkbox is selected the fields need to be grayed out and not authorable.
