Re: Image hotspot icon not available in asset editor - Adobe Experience Manager 26-08-2021
Apparently not. How can I verify? My local AEM instance started properly when I used the start script in the Configure Dynamic Media article, and I didn't see any further instructions on setting it up, so I assumed that was sufficient. java -Xms4096m -Xmx4096m -Doak.queryLimitInMemory=500000 -Doak.queryLimitReads=500000 -jar cq-quickstart-6.5.0.jar -gui -r author,dynamicmedia_scene7 -p 4502

Extending asset filename validation on Classic UI - Adobe Experience Manager 13-11-2019
I have a requirement to validate filenames on Classic UI uploads. This is a very similar requirement as this other question, but for Classic UI - Extending File Name Validation in AEM Assets I tried to find the equivalent javascript file to overlay but it looks like for Classic UI the asset upload process is vastly different. There also don't seem to be any OOTB configurations for asset uploads other than MIME type restrictions through OSGi.

Customizing validation for asset metadata fields - Adobe Experience Manager 08-11-2019
I'm trying to customize the validation for a couple of Asset Metadata fields. I need to make the Title and Description required. I also need to implement additional restrictions on the field values (no capital letters, no blank spaces, etc..., but I could do that on the js file). I have a few questions:1) Why is my overlay attempt not working? (summary of what I did to follow)2) What is the location of the javascript files that manage those fields? I wish to implement the rest of the validation ...
