Hello, I've got a problem I don't know how to resolve. I'm looking at a particular segment (two of them have the same problem actually) - When looking at Unique visitors (although this happens with ALL other metrics too, I'm just using UV as it's easier to explain) and select This year, or Last year of data, I get "correct" data or at least some data:However if I select only January, or only February, or only a part of any of these two months back in 2018, I get this:Everything is blank!Any idea...

Bounce Rate / Time on site - Odd results?

Hello, I've built a web performance dashboard with three different segments to filter at the top. These 3 segments are supposed to capture all of the pages and visitors across the site: However, when looking at the Bounce Rate and Time on Site metrics, I'm not getting the expected results:If the bounce rate is bounces divided by entries and I'm capturing all entries, the total value can never be higher than ALL the segments involved. If the average time on site is calculated by measuring the tim...

Hey, thanks for replying again. Well... the result of that is just weird.I've changed the date at the top right to see only Jan-Nov 2018. The same 4K difference. Then I added the segment at the top and Unique Visitors as requested and this is what I got:Even though the right column with the Europe segment says 383,807, the sum of all the results underneath is 387,847. Which is only about 100 difference from the sum of the left column:I'm not sure what to make of that! Also, whilst checking every ...

Hey, thanks for getting back to me. That's something interesting and it actually fixed another discrepancy I had in another chart. However, even after doing this, I'm having the same 4K difference between the group of country segments and the segment made up of those...Same exact 4K difference.

Hello, I'm trying to create country and region level segments but I'm getting slightly confused with the results I'm getting. I've created 17 segments, one for each European country we've got a specific URL for. i.e. /gb/ , /nl/ , /se/ and so on...Here's the list and the results in unique visitors:Then I created a regional segment by solely dropping all of those segments with OR conditions and I got this result:So, there's 4K difference between one and the other one and I've no idea why as they ...

Hi there, well, that's definitely one possibility, however, on the example above, 50% of the direct/bookmarked traffic comes from friendly URLs which just seems a bit hight...It also doesn't explain the fact that friendly URLs only used for Paid Search come up under "Social Networks" or that friendly URLs only used on email signatures come up under "Search Engines" or that friendly URLs only used on Facebook come up under "Other Websites"....Again, they are all mixed up, they all come up everywh...

Hello, I'm trying to create a chart on in Analytics Workspace to see which ones are the main sources of traffic by using the referrer type dimension and unique visitors. At first glance, it gives me the information I'm looking for:However, when I want to get a little bit more detail, I can see some issues here. Particularly on the "Typed/Bookmarked" type. If I break it down with "Friendly URL Performance" I would expect to see 0 or close to 0% visits with a friendly URL, however, I get big perce...

Simple Segment Logic Discrepancies

Hello, I've found several discrepancies or inconsistencies with the way AA displays data for the same segments or even with no segments at all. The more complicated the segments get the more of these issues I found so, I'm going to start by asking about this, which in theory should actually be super easy and straightforward and shouldn't cause any problems of this sort....I'm trying to set Repeat Visitors and New Visitors segments so, for the Repeat Visitors segment I'm using a Visitor container...
