the variable 'part" needs a value. Add the script:part = this.rawValueSOnineThreenine.fxnineThreenine(part);to the exit event of dropDownlist2. Otherwise the variable "part" gives you a console error message of [object XFAObject]

Problem resolved. The file path for the destination of the pdf on the server had been moved thus making the path in the pdf inaccurate. Phew!
