WET compliant dialogs in AEM Forms 6.5

Hi, We're trying to create dialogs that are WET compliant. Using:https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/2.2.4/jquery.jsJquery 2.2.4, which is WET approach. We are having mixed results with this. Sometimes the dialog closes, sometimes it doesn't. Curious if Forms 6.5 (older jquery) works with Jquery 2.2.4. So the specific problem is the dialog doesn't always close. Seems the click handler is not always registered. (Using 2.2.4 syntax) We have tried: https://helpx.adobe.com/in/experience-man...

(Reposted in Forms) AEM Forms 6.5. (Windows)Using HTL with: When the HTL page passes afAcceptLang=fr the contained form "test" doesn't translate. It does translate on its own using afAcceptLang=fr. Any ideas? Joel

When I add an event hander to a form, the JS is connected to the form. Variables are available that are not (easily) outside. Not aware of away to set a breakpoint from Chrome. The source is not available AFAIK unless it's in an outside script. If you have an example of how to debug an init script, please share a link

Can I call JS from an event handler and access guideRootPanel?

I want to debug more in JS. I created a searchClicked(guideRootPanel) function inside helper.js. It gets into it fine. I want to access visibility: guideRootPanel.matchPanel.useThisRadioButton.visible = false; Is this advisable? I tried it earlier today and it deleted the radio button from the JCR while I was debugging.(Unless I'm losing my mind) Just checking. I don't need AEM forms pain.

So in theory if someone uses my license, Adobe is not notified of it?

Can we get a fix for this? If pub can handle it, why can't auth?

The problem was (a,b) => syntax in JS. Pub supports it fine. Auth doesn't. Moved to sort with function(a,b). Bogus

Have you had issues with repo and JS (getting JS from JCR into Linux), then github? Would you suggest using packages rather than repo?

I think (maybe) the repos is corrupted for some reason. I still have a working pub. Going to try migrating my changes piece by piece. Starting to consider JCR in a relational db to avoid the disk based JCR.

Syntax Error opening Rules Editor

Hi, Using AEM 6.5 on CentOS. I have a working form with a single field and button and some labels. I saved it, promoted it to pub. Works fine.I committed my changes to githhub (via repo tool). This has worked fine for 2 months now. My computer rebooted (blue screen), which made auth unusable. I rebuilt auth, deployed my packages to the new auth. Now when I open the rules editor, I get the attached. (It won't open). https://drive.google.com/file/d/1bjo1flxIK2-B_SNGW17Gme4OOe2XDSz9/view?usp=sharing...

Do you have a sample of a shared component taking a parameters from a parent component?

I want a component that has a left side of Option1 (Anchor)Option2 (anchor) Right side is the form you see from the selection on the left. I have this working using grid-item on the left, and on the right: What I would like is a component on the left that can take ['option1 label", "option1 link", "option 2 label", "option2 link"]or something similar Overall Question: Can I pass args to a component if the behaviour will likely be common? Thanks

I noticed this...Do I need this? (PDF Generator only ) Install the 32-bit version of libcurl, libcrypto, and libssl libraries and create the below symlinks. The symlinks point to the latest version of the respective libraries: /usr/lib/libcurl.so /usr/lib/libcrypto.so /usr/lib/libssl.so

Initially it failed because I already tried manually adding nodes in the dam. I deleted them, then got: 10.09.2020 11:48:23.530 *INFO* [X.X.X.X [1599752902626] POST /content/forms/af/aafc-gcdp/project/application/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jsp HTTP/1.1] com.adobe.service.ProcessResource Service XMLForm Service: Starting native process with command line "/opt/aem/pub/crx-quickstart/bedrock/svcnative/XMLFormService/bin/XMLForm.exe"

I wasn't aware of this. Thanks for the pointer. I created artifacts manually in the DAM (following a co-workers commits). I will delete those and try again through the UI.
