Re: Test Video Error - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
I think you need to install “FFmpeg” library in your CQ environment.Following are the steps on how to install “FFmpeg” library.1. Download the appropriate version of FFmpeg (Based on operating system, and architecture) from http://www.ffmpeg.org/download.html a. For QA Linux (Solaris SPARC, SunOS), ffmpeg we can be downloaded from http://johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/ b. For windows7, 64bit http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/win64/shared/ffmpeg-20131017-git-0bf8580-win64-shared.7z2. Unzip the package a...

Re: sort pages by cq:lastReplicated - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
You can use QueryBuilder API for this. ResourceResolver my_resourse_resolver; Session my_session; QueryBuilder my_builder; Map my_map; PredicateGroup my_predicate_group; Query my_query; SearchResult my_search_results; my_resourse_resolver = a_request.getResourceResolver(); my_session = my_resourse_resolver.adaptTo( Session.class ); my_builder = my_resourse_resolver.adaptTo( QueryBuilder.class ); my_map = new HashMap(); my_map.put( "path", a_path ); my_map.put( "type", "cq:Page" ); // Define sort...

Re: AEM 5.6 workflow send email step: get participant name - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Yes you can. In your workflow step you can select email check box and email would be sent to initiator containing participant name using default email template located at :/etc/workflow/notification/email/default/en.txt

Re: Using xtype datefield not to select past date in CQ5 - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
You need to write custom js and listeners to implement this.(1) Create a js function to compare dates:\/***Compares dates and return values in 0,-1,1,2**/MyUtility.compareDate = function(a_dateOne ,a_dateTwo){ var returnVal = 'default'; var l_dateOne; var l_dateTwo; l_dateOne = a_dateOne.split('/'); l_dateTwo = a_dateTwo.split('/'); if(l_dateOne[2] == l_dateTwo[2] && l_dateOne[1] == l_dateTwo[1] && l_dateOne[0] == l_dateTwo[0]){ returnVal = 0; } else if(l_dateOne[2] > l_dateTwo[2]){ returnVal = ...

Re: Send Email -Workflow - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
You are getting null pointer exception. Refer services :@Referenceprivate MessageGateway messageGateway;@Referenceprivate MessageGatewayService messageGatewayService;and then :messageGateway = messageGatewayService.getGateway(HtmlEmail.class);messageGateway.send(email);

Re: Reusing existing page content in new pages - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Try OOTB reference (/libs/foundation/components/reference) component or you can use query builder to search and display content related to a specific content type.

Re: Search and limit the depth of search - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
What Johan has said above is right. If you still want to use search query then you can something like this using xpath query :/jcr:root/content/geometrixx/en/element(*, cq:Page)

Re: Query Builder - Adobe Experience Manager 15-10-2015
Hi,There are problems in query map above :First of all the date should be in ISO format (yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS). This is how AEM stores the date values at jcr nodes.Second for daterange predicate upper bound and lower bound operators are not specified.Third relative path of the node where values for start date and end date are stored seems incorrect.So your map should look as shown below: map.put( "group.1_daterange.property" , "jcr:content/compNodeWhereValueExists/startDate"); map.put( "gro...
