Found the answer to my issue - follow these steps. 1. Open a pdf and click on Protect.2. Select More Options from the menu3. Select Security Properties4. From the Security Method field - select "Adobe Experience Manager Document Security” and press Yes to add server info.5. From the Server Settings screen - press the New button and add your server info.6. Press the Connect to this server button upon entering all the information. 7. Press Ok within the confirmation screen.

LiveCycle ES4 and Acrobat 2017 Pro - Integrating the Server - Adobe LiveCycle 09-02-2018
Our organization has recently upgraded from Acrobat XI Pro to Acrobat 2017 Pro. We are able to view previously secured pdfs with 2017 Pro, but we are looking for steps to apply LC RM policies to new pdfs while using Acrobat 2017 Pro. The Protect area within the application provides security options except for LiveCycle RM. Any clues... I know I'm overlooking something.
