We are in the process of rolling out Insight and we have a fixed number of licenses. If we had the ability to easily report on Insight usage, it would make it much easier for us to manage Insight licenses. Right now I'd settle for just knowing what people are connecting to the data set, on what dates, and how many times per day. Stretch goal would be to know what dimensions they are using. (for use in trying to identify unused dimensions that could be removed) Thanks!

Totally should do this. We had to do this using a custom implementation (Thank you, John Bates!), but this really should be out of the box.

I think most would agree that Omniture Insight (VS) has the most amazing segmentation capabilities. However, in Insight the challenge is usually that the analyst needs to know exactly what s/he is doing to create the desired segment correctly. While analyst skill will always be a factor, I think an easy-to-use Advanced Segment Builder utility for Insight (similar to the one Discover has) would help a lot more people create segments using Insight.

Adam, did you know this feature is supported in Omniture Insight? I wonder how long before Omniture starts to merge Discover and Insight since there are many overlapping use cases/capabilities? Sigh. I'm off to propose an easy-to-use Advanced Segment Builder utility for Insight (similar to the one Discover has). :0)

There are internal users at my company who pull in the 'Visitors' metric for an eVar and believe it is the count of distinct Visitors over the specific date range in their report selection. They do not realize that they are actually summing daily unique visitors over the date range. Please either:1. Update calculation of 'eVar 'Visitors' metric to count distinct Visitors over report time range OR2. Re-label 'Visitors' in eVar reports as 'Sum of Daily Unique Visitors'

It would be great if we could trend values of a subrelation breakdown over time directly within SiteCatalyst. This faciliates analysis within SiteCatalyst and can be useful for dashboarding as well. This feature combined with the ability to trend more than 5 items - Allow Trend Reports/Graphs More than 5 Items (adamgreco) - would allow powerful analysis directly within the SiteCatalyst interface.
