It looks to me like you have to be right on it. When you select a
segment for the panel, the fact that it is surrounded by grey,
highlights that is an independent drop zone In the fallout, it is not
too obvious until you are on top of it, when it gets the bold black
boarder. The "Add a Segment" primer on the panel drop zone helps too. I
could totally be the only one that it is not super obvious for, but I
did totally miss it.
A lot of the time if I want to add a segment to a single visualization,
I will add the segment across the top of my freeform table and I'm in
business. However with the Flow and Fallouts, since a freeform is not
fueling it, I don't have that option. So right now I have to have my
fallouts hanging out in their own Panel which creates a pretty
disjointed experience from a date range management perspective. It would
be great if I could add a segment just to the Flow and Fallout reports.
I guess I could go find it in the report, copy it, then paste it into
the segment which would work for "contais" or "equals." It's one of
those things where I can recognize the value I need but could not
actually type it off the top of my head.
I know we should keep the pagenames short. I am working with a 3rd party
integration though, so roll with me for a minute. When the screen
resolution is small (like when you are not hooked up to a monitor. It's
not possible to see the full value of a dimension in a segment. If I
need the characters at the end to know if I have the right value, I am a
bit stuck at the moment. I have to guess, then pull the report to see if
was right. I'd like either a hover state over the top where I can see
It would be awesome if it were easier to move columns around. Often I
will forget one column that I want at the beginning then I have to
shimmy it over one column at a time becuase "Replace" swaps the two
I agree with the issue highlighted above. To be more specific about what
the solution looks like, in the Calculated metrics, I am looking to be
able to put a Dimension inside the `Count` (or maybe a `Count Distinct`)
so that I could have COUNT(DISTINCT evar 03 values) without having to do
odd stuff with row counts. I am looking to be able to graph that count
over time without having to jump through a bunch of hoops.
I would like to be able to annotate line and bar graphs in Analysis
Workspace. I would like to be able to select which lines would be
involved in the annotation and whether it is static or rolling based on
the date if a date is involved.
When I am looking to go in and delete or add categories to a bunch of
rules at once, it's a pain to have to roll through pagination. It would
be great to be able to select the number of rules to be displayed.
I agree with Morten that this is still a huge pain point. We are trying
to implement a new tag now that you do not support. The devs are writing
custom code and applying it to the rules. This makes it though that a
not so technical marketer could not go and support the tool integration
ongoing though because the integration is in code instead of a wysiwyg
editor like the Omniture and GA tools.
I have Global Variables set up at the Adobe Analytics tool level. I
would like to be able to have a checkbox in the Event-Based rules that
allow me to send that information in the servercall for the event-based
rules that leverage the s.tl() function. This is useful so that I would
only need to update in one place (the Global Variable settings) when we
need to add a variable instead of needing to go into the affected
event-based rules as well.
When creating a Workspace Project with several data sources, it would be
nice to speed up the generation of the Freeform Tables. It would be
awesome if you could double click a dimension and get it to build a
freeform table at the bottom.
I love "easy trending" feature from the Freeform Tables. What a
time-saver! It would be even more awesome if we could easily configure
the granularity. I put my shiny designer hat on to spec something out
It seems as though Weekly Unique Visitors is missing as a metric in
Discover and using the Weekly Granularity yields different results
depending on the time range of the report selected. We use this metric
frequently so it would be nice to be able to use this in Discover in
addition to reports and analytics.
