Re: Assign user IDs not visitor IDs to experiment variation - Adobe Target 01-11-2018
Do we have to use the device co-op or can we use something like the visitor ID stitching in analytics?

Re: Assign user IDs not visitor IDs to experiment variation - Adobe Target 01-11-2018
Just to be clear (double and triple check!) - as long as I am targeting a page post sign in page - Adobe Target "magic" will make sure that a user dropped into a experience A will always see experience A no matter what browser they use? How does it do this?

Assign user IDs not visitor IDs to experiment variation - Adobe Target 31-10-2018
I want to be able to run AB tests that consistently drop a user into a specific (randomized) experiment experience - no matter which browser they sign in on. The experience is post sign in - so essentially I want to randomly assign user ids to test and control - as opposed to visitor ids. Is this possible? I cannot find out how to do this in the documentation. Can someone point me in the right direction - I may be looking for the wrong thing! Thanks,Matt

Re: Time Between Events Calculation Ability - Adobe Analytics 25-08-2018
Is there no way to calculate two 'time prior to event' values and subtract them?

I also wonder if Sensei already knows what last year was to do anomaly detection 🙂

Year on Year Change in Analysis Workspace - Adobe Analytics 23-07-2018
Starting a new thread since the previous one here fizzled out.Fellow Adobe users and adobe product team. Here is a suggestion that stemmed from an embarrassing situation that cropped up today! For context - we have broad Adobe instrumentation in at Chegg - however we are still in the process of driving adoption of Analysis Workspace - since for so many things it is a really quick tool and avoid the need for complex data processes and things like Tableau dashboards - which end up being a source o...

Re: Median Time on Page - Adobe Analytics 07-03-2018
OK - I figured out what is going on! The way functions work is not how I expected (and others asking this and similar questions). Aggregate / Statistical functions are applied to the breakdown rows of data in the freeform table - as opposed to the raw data. Here is a simple example. You can see that the mean pageviews per visit column has the same value for all rows:Pageviews per visit is defined like this:Mean pageviews per visit is defined like this (note it includes a function):Why does the m...

Clickstream Lookups - Adobe Analytics 27-10-2017
I have a question about the lookup files that get exported with the clickstream data. We export data every hour, and in each export I get a set of lookup files. The lookup files contains two fields - an id and a value. The lookups are essentially dimension tables, the main clickstream data set is the fact table. As I make each export available in our data warehouse I have a choice - depending on what assumptions I want to make about the lookup tables:Denormalize and store : apply the appropriate l...
