I have a site that is based on a single url structure. Technically,
there are no 404 error pages. But sometimes content cannot be delivered.
When the user sees that big empty "cannot find your content" message, I
really wanted results stripped out of our official reporting numbers,
just like the s.pagetype variable when coded correctly will do. My issue
is the canned report you have will ONLY allow you to pass the url. With
my single URL site that does not help me whatsoever. I cannot have our
Unfortunately, I do not have an IPAD to verify this, but one of our end
users does. She indicates that the default reportlets that show up in
Site Overview are not in the ipad app and it asks her to create her own.
She has an older version of the app and she has NO PROBLEM seeing the
site overview. It's the newer version she has a problem with. I'm going
to guess this is a feature enhancement--see ticket:130912-000353
I'm not happy about the inconsistency in variable definitions. I had
been told in ticket 130927-000242, that if I pull in Instances in the
Key Metrics Report, it's not the same as Instances on a prop (the count
of the number of times the value is passed), but it will be instances of
the visit. I'm not sure why I cannot see in the Key Metrics report all
instances, using the same definition as the sprops provide. The
inconsistency makes no logical sense. Basically Instances minus page
views would ...
You should have 3 variables. Page Views or s.t() calls.On-click
Instances or s.tl() calls. Then "Occurences" which seems to be the other
way you describe "Instances". I created a global segment subtracting
Instances & Page views to get the On-click Instances. It really should
be a default metric & not a plug we have to do. "Instances" now on the
props I think are pretty useless. I'm also dying for you to be able to
do correlations on Metrics, but that is another idea topic.
Agree with the above. I had 168 names I had to a group. When I thought I
was done, I only had 167 names. I should be able to download that list
of names so I can compare to the list I was working of from (Excel
Vlookups are wonderful). Instead, you have to review one by one in the
admin tool to try to figure out who might have been missed. I think this
should be a very easy feature for Adobe to implement. Download group
button is needed!
When a DW request fails, I should be able to go back in, adjust the ftp
site credentials & try to resend on my own. Often, it's merely a typo on
my end--putting in the wrong password. Shouldn't have to bother Client
Care with this. Thanks.
Two main issues we see with Site Catalyst and the lack of foreign
language support. First, Sprops are limited to 100 bytes. That's fine
for Ascii but for the Asian characters, it is not. Sprop size needs to
be increased to allow for more data to be passed on the image request.
Second, search in site catalyst needs to recognize the foreign
characters & produce the results. It currently does not.
This documentation shows that the Visit Number is LIFETIME regardless of
the time frame you are
1SiteCatalyst reports the lifetime visit number independent of time
period selected. For example, many visitors come to your site for the
first time in January, then each of them return for a second visit in
February. Viewing the Visit Number report using February as a date range
would display a higher n...
Example. Sprop 10 & Evar 5 is my external tracking code. I have a ton of
tracking codes categorized as "Corporate Marketing", "Editiorial
Alerts", "Content Distribution Partners". Unfortunately, we are unable
to use various query string parameters on our end & they all use the
same query string paramenter so I would have to define these manually.
Instead of saying Query String Parameter=, I would say "Saint Rollup
Value of X="Editorial Alerts". Make sense?
Although you have alerts that check total site traffic at end of each
hour, I want more flexibility. Our site traffic varies greatly between
M-F 9-5 compared to evenings & weekends. I want to set different
thresholds. 1M page views in an hour at night something is wrong with
implementation. 1M pageviews in an hour during the day isn't so unusual.
I want the flexibility to set up TIME frames & specific thresholds for
We want to break down in DW, Discover, Etc. which of our mobile devices
are using a browser that is js enabled vs. which are not. We udnerstand
(see ticket : 120430-000117) that Omniture doesn't check Java Script
capability on a mobile device. Now that more mobile devices accept JS,
we want to know of those visiting mobile devices visiting our site, what
% have JS. We were confused because we were seeing JS=0 on most reports.
I absolutely agree. See my ticket 120410-000127. We want to be able to
look at monthly unique visitors & say how many were cookies seen for the
first time this month vs. a repeat from past months. And then do the
same on daily, weekly, etc. Any time frame. This should be a standard
site catalyst report. We want to understand what % of VISITORS are brand
NEW for each time frame.
I simply want to see all order #s whereby the count of the products
purchased is >1. I can run my EVAR for the order # or the purchased id.
I can then in Discover drill down on products purchased--but to roll up
all the ones whereby 2+ products were purchased is difficult. I'm
resorting to using Datawarehouse to do this & then put the results into
in MS Access so I can group by order # & count on products.
I just wanted to download a table saying here are sprops/evars in the
left hand column, here are all my report suits in the rows on top & just
a check box if there is a Saint set up on the value. We often create new
report suites & forget to set up the Saint. I need to see which report
suites I need to add saints to.
You allow users to change the alert name. As time passes, they may have
forgotten what the alert was for & there is NOTHING to indicate what
value that alert was set on!!! "The relevant element" is KEY!!
This frustrates me, as I think it should be basic. We have to fill out
an SSL certificate & supply it with you each year. The least you can do
is update the admin code manager console with that cookie so when we do
a code export, we don't constantly change that part of the code to use
that cookie. I'm the business person & do not feel comfortable altering
the actual code. Even on this simple replace, if I accidentally change
one thing I'm not suppose to, I wouldn't know how to fix it. I send it
