We are using "excerpt" property in our query to show the description in search results. We have configured two fields "jcr:description" and "subtitle" as excerpt properties in QueryBuilderImpl configuration. It is working fine, until the description has less than 150 characters. If it is more than 150 characters, then the excerpt property returns only part of the description, but the issue is it breaks and returns the ending part of the description, not the staring part. For example, if my jcr:d...

In our application, we have multiple market search, both pages and dam. Below is our basic query. Search works fine for most markets, but for China market, seems like we are getting lot of irrelevant results. Not able to find how Lucene search is working for non-English languages. Are there any configurations required for this? Also, do we have any specific Analyzer configuration for Chinese language?fulltext=insurance1_group.p.or=true1_group.1_group.path=/content/product/us1_group.2_group.path=...

In our application, we have implemented search using "fulltext" property. While this is working fine for single query string, when we enter query string with multiple words (e.g. insurance products xyz), there is an issue. Only when all the multiple words individually have results, we get the results. If even one word among the multiple words does not have results, we get 0 results, which is not ideal behavior. Generally expected behavior is "OR" for all individual words. For example, consider th...

We have created a custom index with multiple market paths added in "includedPaths" property. When we are using SUGGEST query, we are getting suggestion results only for few markets (though other markets also has the relevant content). We found that, this is because, index returns only top 10 suggestion results and filters for the subtree query (Jackrabbit Oak – Lucene Index ). Is there any way to change this configuration to get more suggestion results? Is there any configuration for this featur...

I have created two site level indexes for page and asset indexing (myprojectUsIndex: /content/dam/myproject/us, myprojectAssetUsIndex: /content/myproject/us) and using query builder API to search in these paths. My query is as below.fulltext=wordmainasset=true1_group.p.or=true1_group.1_group.path=/content/dam/myproject/us1_group.2_group.path=/content/myproject/us2_group.p.or=true2_group.1_group.type=cq:Page2_group.1_group.property=jcr:content/@sling:resourceType2_group.1_group.property.value=dam...
