Get page name from url path using launch floriane3493069 - Adobe Analytics
Hi there, I have a very simple Adobe Analytics implementatio using Adobe Launch. All I want is measuring page views of a certain page and using the url path as page name. If landing page URL equals myexampletestpage.com set variable and send beacon.Page Name comes from a data element using location.pathname to retrieve page name from url path. Unfortunately it does not work. Do you have any ideas what is wrong with my set up? Thanks

Re: Using DTM to select positioning of custom html code floriane3493069 - Dynamic Tag Management
I figured it out. Problem was that I had to change the way the code was injected from sequential to non-sequential HTML. Now it works.

Using DTM to select positioning of custom html code floriane3493069 - Dynamic Tag Management
I want to integrate additional html code into my website using DTM. To set the right position of the html code in the page I am using a specific div id.The positioning t works as planned. Problem is that if I look at the very bottom of the page you will see another container which comes from DTM as well (same rule) – Is there any possibility to prevent the second container from showing up?I noticed that this behavior must be related to where the rule is being triggered. If I choose „trigger rule...

Hi asheeshp, thank you for your suggestions. I added the code to the custom code section of the analytics tool but s_sq is still being dropped. How can I set s.trackInLineStat to true as described in your link? s.trackInlineStats=trueI was looking in the custom section of the library management but could not find anything...Thanks

Re: Prevent rule from being triggered if parameter exists floriane3493069 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi Stewart, hi Jantzen, thank you for your feedback and your discussion. Sorry for my late response, it took me a while to put everything in place. Actually the solution Stewart suggested worked perfectly well. I used the above mentioned code to prevent the rule from being fired if a certain parameter existed. Thanks again guys. This helped a lot.

Great, thanks stewarts16448458Unfortunately I am afraid I am not exactly sure what i have to insert for "//replace this with code to determine existence of the param". Could you give me an example. Let's say my url is xyz.com?parameter1=a&parameter2=b and I want do not want the rule to be triggered if parameter2 exists.Thank you very much.Florian

Prevent rule from being triggered if parameter exists floriane3493069 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi there,I just set up a page load rule. The only condition for this rule is that it is not triggered if a certain parameter exists. Unfortunately AEM only offers me the possibility to trigger the rule if a parameter is pressent. Can you tell me if it is also possible to prevent a rule from being triggered if a parameter exists?Thank you

Re: Getting hash (#) value from URL for data element floriane3493069 - Dynamic Tag Management
Hi guys, thank you for your great support. I made a mistake. I tried to put to code directly into the js object field. But then I put the code into the custom script editor. It looks like this now:return document.URL.substr(document.URL.indexOf('#')+4); And it works 🙂Thanks a lot.Best Florian
