Chad, Is this an existing implementation? If yes---if the Rule is a Page Load rule, nothing will happen. Page Load Rules are nullified for existing SiteCatalyst implementations.

Rudi Shumpert wrote... The issue is how the "Adobe Analytics Page Code is already present" works. When selected DTM will not activate any of the page load rules, as you discovered. The assumption is that you already have page code on the site and that is handling the analytics. This option does NOT run any sort of detection to see if it can find your code first and then execute if it is not already there. Got it.As mentioned earlier, I have a search results page currently non-dtm Omniture tagged...

Have an existing non-DTM Omniture implementation. Using DTM I want to overwrite the s.pagename when a URL Parameter Name 'name' exists.Currently (existing Omniture implementation), when this page loads, the s.pagename is set to "Search"However, I want to use DTM to set s.pagename = "search results"SO---I created a pageload rule: 1. Condition: URL Parameter Name 'name', URL Parmameter Value (regex) ".+" 2. Adobe Analytics: Set Page Name to "search results" ***using the debugger, I see in the cons...

We are an events B2B company that utilizes about 50 domains that are similar in structure. Since they are similar, a single DTM web property is desired.Setting up the DTM property, within the "Additional Domains" box, I supplied all 50 subdomains. Getting an error Message and can't save them: "Too Long (Max 255 characters)" **see attached screenshotIs there a way around this issue? I don't want to set up 50 individual DTM properties that are very similar in structure. Surely as DTM is an enterpr...

Hi Rahul. Here's what I mean for my 'wrinkle' above....Currently, we have a DTM web property "www.packagingdigest.com".Since one cannot have 2 DTM web properties set up on the same URL, For the new DTM web property, I believe I would set up the new web property's "additional domains" field: "eastpack.packagingdigest.com,packextoronto.packagingdigest.com". This way, the "www.packagingdigest" web property would be unaffected by the new web property using the 2 subdomains.Am I making sense? Thanks!

We're an events company that uses multiple domains including subdomains. For instance, a sampling of our event URLs are:http://mdmeast.mddionline.com/http://biomedevicesj.mddionline.com/http://eastpack.packagingdigest.com/http://packextoronto.packagingdigest.com/http://atxeast.designnews.com/http://dm-canada.designnews.com/These sites utilize the same page template--thus I want to use a single DTM web property. QUESTION: HOW do I add all these domains/subdomains within a single DTM web property?...
