It's a bug in AEM 6.2. The fix is scheduled to go live in CFP-8 next month.

In AEM 6.1 we didn't have the concept of folders, so the projects had a name. But with 6.2 and above, the folders are one level above the project nodes and the API doesn't read that. Since the TMS/GMS vendors didn't bother for the folder name we didn't build support in the API. We will look into adding this in future if there is a strong use case. In the meantime you can use the workaround mentioned by @diptinarang.

Hi jorgefdez205,For i18n dictionaries, when you have the same key with different meanings, you can use keys with hints. Refer to: https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-0/develop/components/i18n/translator.html#Adding, Changing, and Removing StringsSridhar

my Header and Footer and topnav component how can I translate to Hindi language.Hi PraveenThe Header. Footer and topnav components (if you are using Foundation components or its derivatives) pick the pages dynamically and show their "jcr:title" or "pageTitle" property as the links on navigation. Look for the Geomerixx samples English and German sites as examples, where the topnav renders the correct language in the link labels. But if you are using any customized components where the Labels of t...

The tag metadata is the global list of tags available for assets, pages, etc and is stored under /etc/tags. The Asset specific metadata usually have a "dam:...

Hi samery56615784,You can send the Assets AND/OR the Asset and Tag metadata for translation through one of the several Translation Connectors that work with AEM. When the metadata is translated, it is stored in the JCR along with the original metadata as properties. The Asset metadata is stored at the Asset level, but the Tag metadata is stored under /etc/tags and is globally available for different GEOs. The translations are stored with a . suffix like jcr:title.de, jcr:description.fr etc. Will ...
