I think someone else may have already mentioned it, but on your publisher(s) double-check the OSGi config for Apache Sling Referrer Filter and ensure you are allowing the methods you are trying to support.

Can you expand a bit more when you say 'accessing through the application'? Is there a 3rd party or external system that is trying to access and consume data from AEM? HTTP 204 response = 'no content', which is what I would expect to get back from a successful preflight request from an outside application. Just curious if this is a possible CORS issue.

You should be able to use Adobe IMS to work with any of the Adobe Cloud offerings. I've helped a few clients setup IMS to work with the AEM instances managed by Adobe AMS. You should be able to work with your Adobe CSE to complete this. If you are referring to setting up IMS with an on-prem AEM implementation, I don't think that is currently possible.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I hit a similar issue a while back and through lots of trial and error I found that when installing AEM 6.5 you *must* use version 1.10.0 of the S3 connector initially. After you have AEM successfully running you can then proceed with upgrading the connector to the latest and the latest AEM SPs. If someone found a different way would love to hear it but I spent quite a bit of time trying to get the latest version working on a fresh AEM 6.5 install and everyti...

So, I have doubts that this suggestion will rewrite the link on the page accordingly. The issue is when there is a link on any page that redirects to the home page, when you hover over that link it appears as '/.html'. It's almost as if something is forcing extensions on all links.I added your suggestion(s) to my local publish instance to validate, when examining the links on the page they still pointed to full path of '/content/client-site/en/home' and had not been shortened as expected.

This seems like a fairly common use case but we have a client that is experiencing some issues with url rewriting / shortening.The gist is, the client would like to have all links on the site that link to the home page '/content/client-site/en/home' to map to root '/'. Also note that all content lives under this home page.Using the resource resolver we have mappings to shorten the urls on the publish instances:/content/client-site/en/home/(.*):/$1/content/client-site/en/home:/We have a few Apach...

We eventually reached out to DayCare, and while we did not get a reference to proper documentation, below is what was suggested from DayCare, which ultimately resolved our issue.this.persistence = new ContextHub.Utils.Persistence({mode : ContextHub.Utils.Persistence.Modes.SESSION});

Ok, so I found the issue. Its not an aem thing. deep in their code they are using the java URLEncode object which by default translates the spaces to '+'. When they are encoding the url they have a check for spaces but appears it is failing on that.

I'm curious if anyone has seen this behavior where spaces are rendered as '+' in the path to assets and pages instead of '%20'. While working on a client's site I noticed several broken images and links, all had spaces in either the path and/or file name and the page rendered these as +. In other words, 'Hello World.png' became 'Hello+World.png'. While looking through code, I found a custom method that looks for the occurrence of this and replaces the '+' back to '%20'. Obviously, some links/com...

Hi Jörg, Thanks for the response. So full disclosure, apparently the person that reported the issue didn't mention that it is also resolved when we reassociated his account with the proper groups. So in the end yes, you were right it was permissions, much to my confusion was that it was still *falsely* reported as an issue when it had been corrected.

Thanks for the replies.To test where the problem is I've turned off all Apache RewriteRules, disabled cacheing, in filters commented out all rules except '/0001 {/type "allow" /glob "*" }' to allow everything ,and cleared the dispatcher cache. Restarted dispatcher, and retested..issue still persisted.Then created a new user in AEM, tested with the new user in author dispatcher and had no problems. Then went back and reenabled cache, filters, rewrites, etc and retested with the new user, again ha...

We are seeing login issues with our author dispatcher when logging in with anyone other than admin. When the admin account logs in everything looks and works as expected. If one of the other users, that was migrated over from AEM 6.0, logs in they appear to login but instead of seeing the projects page they get the following error:"Resource at '/' not foundCannot serve request to / in /apps//sling/servlet/errorhandler/404.jsp"The dispatcher for author does have 1 rewrite rule that simple enforce...

We are implementing a custom data store in AEM 6.1 ContextHub for a client's site and trying to use the SessionStore. According to the Adobe documentation, the SessionStore should use the in-memory persistence and only be available for that browser session. Our custom store inherits from the SessionStore:ContextHub.Utils.inheritance.inherit(myStore, ContextHub.Store.SessionStore);Our store is registered and available to the developers to read/write data. However, upon further inspection, it appe...
