We had created a Marketo form for sales to input leads, so that leads get tracked and tagged properly vs sales hand entering it in SFDC.But it seems that if they don't put an email address, the leads get crossed and confused. Is there code I can put on the form or the landing page so that the form doesn't associate the data with the previous lead?

I'm wondering if anyone in the community has found a creative solution for this yet. I would like to send renewal reminders to our annual customers, but the end date for their subscription lies in the opportunity record, and opportunity record fields do not pass to Marketo. Marketo's solution is to stamp the opportunity end date on the contact record, but this does not work for us since one contact can have multiple opportunities - how would Marketo know which one to select, and how will we handle the unlimited # of possible opportunities? I wouldn't think we are the only company who has run into this problem with allowing multiple opportunities per contact and wanting to send renewal reminders... Thanks in advance for sharing any tips!

According to this article (https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000KyvgCAC), I should be able to right-click on a column header to hide the column from my chart.  But when I right-click on a column, I see none of these options.  The column field (which is actually contained in the "Rows" area of the interface - this is another confusing issue) is identified in the image below.  I still want to filter on this data, but it doesn’t need to be contained in the report.

What happens if I add members to an engagement program after it is already running?My program is simple, set to send out 4 emails over a few months. If email 1, and 2 go out, and then new members are added into the program, do the new members receive email 1, or will they jump to email 3?

We need to delete old users from our instance. Will anything be affected by this action (e.g. reports, programs, etc.)?

Our instance is set with the lead lifecycle done automatically.  I have tradeshow program that I need to gather info but NOT send to Salesforce.  I did not sync with a campaign but the way we're configured, it'll go if that lead somehow gets to marketing qual'd or a score of 100.  Is there a way to keep a smart list from engaging in the lifecycle process?

Our emails are designed to understand users better by the links they click, and instead of analyzing the results of an email campaign I want to automatically update the users profile when they click links. Is this possible? What needs to happen is a user clicks on a specific link and their profile is then updated with a time stamp and the link tag (for example brand name of product). This field should update and keep a running tab of e users click behavior so their tastes can be monitored over time to see if brand affinity changes. Hope to hear how to do this, or better yet get a link to a tutorial to set this up..

If I have duplicates with the same email address and the person unsubscribes does the email address get unsubbed or just that record?

Last month, Marketo email links were listed as one of our top refferal sources in Google Analytics. Can someone help me understand what this means exactly? Is it only those that went directly from one of our marketo emails to our website? Or could it also be users who went from one of our emails to a landing page then to our website?? Are marketo landing pages that are linked to our emails counted as a website visit? Would love to get clarity on what this means! Thanks!

Essentially, an if/then statement is needed.Thanks!

We would like to replace all our old forms with forms 2.0.  Is there a simple way to just clone them?  Or, do I need to go into every landing page the form is on and manually replace the old form with the new one?

I have a table with 18 rows. Each of the first 17 rows have read-only text (mandatory activities) in a text field in the first column; the last row is a blank row with an add button so the user can add a new activity to the bottom of the table. I've been asked to allow users to insert a new activity at any location in the table (for example, to insert a new Row 7 after Row 6), instead of just at the end of the table. (Obviously this also requires removing the text from the activity text box and changing it to User Entered, as well as a couple other housekeeping activities, which shouldn't be a problem if I can just get the darn row to insert!)I've searched the forums and reviewed some of Assure Dynamics excellent examples. From what I've seen, this should be relatively straightforward...but it's not working. Or rather, it works fine in the first row, multiple times even. Is it possible to record multiple responses in a single field? Hi Everyone,we are planning to set up a webpage that has multiple content that we'd like to have behind a form submit.  Ideally, we'd like some sort of popup that comes up with a Form that will disappear after submitted (we'd just use the lightbox feature in Forms 2.0 embedding).  However, the kicker is we're looking for a way to have the form disabled if they've already submitted the information on the form.  Any ideas?Thanks!

If I include a smart campaign from a program in my stream that has a smart list excluding some of the leads, will the leads that are not included in that smart campaigns be sent on to the next piece of content in the stream? Or will they have to wait for the next cast before they get another piece of content? I don’t want them to be skipped for a cast if they dont qualify for the pending piece of content. 

Can I use Segmentation in the Email LINK Performance Report?We have a newsletter that goes out with some dynamic content based on the segementation "Industry" and some content that is general and goes to everyone.Is there a way to report on link performance by industry? ie - Which industries clicked what links? I read the article on doing this for the "Email Performance Report" here https://community.marketo.com/MarketoArticle?id=kA050000000L6uwCAC    But I dont see a way to do this in the "Email Link Performance Report" Am I missing it or is this not possible? Advice for a work around if so? Thanks!

On reviewing the Marketo Lead Management App Installation Guide, I came across something that I'd like clarifying:pg. 9: "3. If prompted, to enter your Salesforce login credentials. Log in as a Salesforce administrator  Do not log in as the dedicated Salesforce user for Marketo sync." What are the consequences (if any) of installing the MLM app from the dedicated SFDC user's account? Cheers in advance for any clarification/interpretation/discussion of the above!

Hello,Is it possible to create a custom Unsubscribe link in the body of the email keeping for it the same functionality of the Unsubscribe link in the footer of the email for 'non operationa email'? If yes, how can I do it?

I have been using the code below to easily update our form buttons to fancy buttons for nearly a year. I've found on a new page that the MKTO button is still showing up. MKTO provided the original fancy button code, but that throws all of my page's elements out of whack. The header goes to the top of the page, the sub head where the heading should be, etc. Does anyone know how to completely hide the button, possibly using the code below?
