Hi,I added some custom Javascript to my Marketo form's embed code. Now I want to put that form onto a Marketo landing page. I cannot figure out how to exactly embed a form onto a Marketo LP. Has anyone been able to accomplish this?Thanks,Corey

I need to remove old users, but I couldn't find any documentation on what the implications are of this action. Is there any loss of items they created? Edit history? Before I go hit delete, I just want to make sure I know exactly what happens. Thank you!

I'm planning to use the SOAP API to synch with our database. I have exported the field names from Admin | Field Management, but I don't see one for the Marketo Lead ID. Many of the SOAP API calls (e.g., syncLead) are looking for a "Marketo ID". I assume this is the same thing that is variously called Marketo Lead ID, Lead ID or just ID when I am viewing data in a list. I have created a MarketoID field in my database; how do I map it to Marketo? 

I am a new user and have been trying for 2 hours to insert an image in an email and then create a link to a URL, but it is not working so I am doing something very wrong. I am in the email editor I have inserted an image that I uploaded to the Design Studio I have sent a test email and the image shows up fine I click on the image and click on the link icon as I would normally do with plain text I paste in the URL, but the dialog simply clears itself once I click the Insert button

I created the ICS token and connected that to a specific area in my message and it is not doing anything when I click it. what am I doing wrong?

We would like to offer two different form options for managing email preferences and unsubscribing - one for our clients, one for prospects. I set up the segmentations. I would like to link to the manage email preference landing page from the system unsubscribe footer that goes out automatically at the bottom of each email. I'm trying to figure out how to use dynamic content and snippets to accomplish this but can't figure out how to either add a snippet in the email admin section to send them to the correct page depending on their status, (default email settings, system unsubscribe link section) or to create a email preference landing page where the form is dynamic - i.e. where the landing page shows one form for members, one form for prospects. I'm hoping there's a way....Love any suggestions anyone has. Thanks!

do tokens work in calendar tokens?

Happy Friday!I have a question about MSI "Add to Campaign" function. First I wanted to clarity - sales ppl are able to add anyone to campaigns right, not just leads they own?And if this is the case... in the campaigns you set up in Marketo do you normally use tokens or not? I'm really hesitant to use lead owner tokens in the email fields (from etc) because if they can add anyone, some of these leads my be in queues still and therefore the token wouldn't populate or send. Please correct me if I'm wrong, it's been a long week :pSo what do you normally do for these campaigns, just use the normal marketing email addresses, or is there a way to say -campaign was requested by this user... and populate off of that?Thanks!

I'm working on a marketo launch for our sister agency. All emails are testing fine across browsers and clients, excluding actual people with the same inbox domain name as the landing page/image repository domain. They "allow images" in the email but still show up as question marks. I am almost guessing that their mail server is set to block or gets confused by the image links because they're hosted in Marketo. Has anyone experienced anything like this? 

I'm getting "Access Denied" with a response code of 603 anytime I try to access and of the Campagin endpoints. I have an API user setup and working, with Lead and activity Read-Write permissions. I am able to access and edit leads and lists without a problem. This is a problem with both the GET method and POST in conjunction with the _method parameter. I have also tried giving the API Role all permissions just for testing and am still experiencing the issue. ANy Suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi all,I am trying to change the Sector data value for a long list of leads on MArketo (which are also on SFDC). After having changed many of these, i realised that the Sector of the ones in SFDC changes back to the original, via SFDC synch. Meaning that all my work was basically lost. I am not sure why that happens, but the following are the messages i got on the Activity log of an example lead:    Please let me know if you know why this is happening and how to fix it! Thanks,Alexia

Hello!I have multiple cloned progressive profiling forms in Marketo that will be catered to different sections of the website (non-marketo landing page) and I would like them to sync together:The form has two parts: the first visit to the form contains basic questions, whereas the second visit to the form requests additional information from the lead. I would like the lead to fill out the first section on any of the cloned forms, and be directed to the 2nd part of the form when visiting any other cloned form. I have tested this functionality on the Marketo landing pages, but am experiencing issues when duplicating the same environment on the actual website.Does anyone know if this is possible? I learnt that form-pre-fill is not possible on non-marketo landing pages, but does that mean progressive profiling will not work with cloned forms?Appreciate any help I can get!Lindsay

Hi Marketo,We set up a Webinar event that was integrated with GoToWebinar.  Everything is working great, except we had about 10 new leads who filled out the form and registred for the webinar but are not showing as acquired by this program.It seems as though, they were forwaded the email from a past lead and then registered for the event.  Usually a new lead will automatically show as acquired by for other program.I created a workaround by making a filter smart campaign:-Smart List: Lead was created with a constraint of the form fill-Flow: Change Data Value of Acquisition programAm I missing a step when I set up the program to have the webinar program do this automatically?Thanks!

Hi!Does anyone know if we can use dynamic images for lead owners.  For example, I want to have the picture of each lead owners' signature, as well as their photo and LinkedIn link, like we can do for their name, etc.  Is it possible to change these dynamically without having to create 40 different emails? (I do not have CRM)Any help would be very apprecited! 

I need to make some changes to our industry picklist definitions in Salesforce.  As we already have set up forms with pick lists in them in Marketo I was hoping these would automatically update with the changes, but I have made one amend to see if this was the case and it is not.  (unless I’m being impatient and not waiting long enough) Is there a way of auto updating the forms?  Or do I have to go into all 20 and change them all to include the new picklist items and delete the ones we aren’t going to use anymore? 

To add rich text to a new landing page is it as simple as dragging over the rich text icon and dragging it into the landing page?  This doesn't work for me.  I drag it over and click but nothing happens.  It just sits there.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi all,I'm new to Marketo (just left Eloqua and am happy so far!) so excuse me if this is repetitive - I couldn't find it in the discussions.In Eloqua, I could create a numeric calculated formula field.My use case was simple: birthday coupons.I had the birthday hard coded into the database and had another field populated with the contact's birthday plus 2 weeks. This allowed me to send coupons with hard expiration dates, instead of just saying "this expires in 2 weeks."Is there a way to do this in Marketo?Thanks,Nick

Hi  In certain cases, I need to get a campaign based on its name.  I can use the "get multiple campaigns" call of course.  However, I am running into an issue that certain campaigns have a comma.   To explain further, if I run the follow through the php function urlencode  this string: FL-CC0863 Salt Lake City, UT would become:FL-CC0863+Salt+Lake+City%2C+UTOf course I'd expect this to work just fine.  However, the call returns an empty array.  Is the url encoding different for marketo's api? Hi,I saw a really great email from Hootsuite where they provided a CTA and Link to their database to have them opt-in.I liked how simple and straightforward it was. So how would I create that in Marketo?Would I have to create a landing page with a form? So when they click "submit" it triggers the workflow to opt them in. That doesn't quite do what I want this to do, but I can't think of how to create a button with a flow.Any ideas?

Hi all,I'm updating my LeadRecord data. There are 3 fields whose data need to be updated, and their data type are String, DateTime and Boolean.After update-request, I could get the response status 'UPDATED', But only the String and DateTime fields have their new values. Value of the Boolean field is not changed.I'm sure that my user has permission to update data of LeadRecord by SOAP APIs, and I'm also sure that the Boolean field has no 'Block Updates From' setting.How could it happen?Any suggestions?Thanks,Biao
