Workflows, Search, Taxonomy, Content Analytics and access management are features that can be found as well in web content management systems as in traditional knowledge management solutions. As such I am wondering whether any AEM customers have used AEM for knowledge management and have integrated AEM successfully with external entitlement solutions in order to restrict access to content. If so what went well and where did you face challenges?Furthermore I would be interested in hearing about your experience in making large entitled software downloads available through AEM and how it impacted performance of the overall system.If this is not the right community to ask this type of question please feel free to point me into the right direction. Thanks!

Hello everybody. I'm trying to use and understand the new AEM features like Apps with Phonegap, but with some problems.To begin with, the Content Sync. So, here is my situation:- I'm building the Geometrixx Outdoors Apps (from the page English) via PhoneGap Build [selecting this "page" of the app and clicking on "Build Remote", after configuring my PhoneGap cloud service];- Then, I download the .apk from my PhoneGap account and install it on a mobile Android Device;- When I open it on my Android device (in this case, a virtual machine running Android 4.3), the App works just fine and I can see the app fetching data from my AEM server via Android logs on the first time it runs (log below);[img]http://i.imgur.com/bH3MOmd.png[/img]However, when I changed some content on my server (author instance), saved it and published it, then click "Update" on my app, the content is not synced and I can see errors regarding the fetch try of the app (as the log on the link below show). I developed a basic project as an OSGI bundle. I tested it by installing it using http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles. The bundle shows as active.Then I switch to http://localhost:4502/system/console/services and the services of the bundle show.Later after doing some development, my bundle installs and shows as active. But its methods no longer appears in the services interface. And they cannot be accessed using  sling.getService.What can cause this and how does one go about testing to see what caused it to stop being a service.

If I have a bundle imported into AEM using http://localhost:4502/system/console/bundles and I do not have any Interfaces exposed as Services but my bundle is active and has the package with my class in the export packages. The examples I have come across in the documentation use something like the below example com.adobe.cq.KeyService keyService = sling.getService(com.adobe.cq.KeyService.class); However if the KeyService interface is not listed with a service id then when it is called a null pointer exception is raised.  Can one gain access to a class in the JSP if it is not shown with a service id. In my case I have implemented my interface and use @Component and @Service on the implementation class but it does not show any service id in the Web Console screen.

Hi, In the damadmin, on the right hand pane, if you add the title column, it's editable. How can i make this readOnly? I've tried setting readOnly=true / disabled=true as property for the 'title' gridcolumn -> /apps/wcm/core/content/damadmin/grid/assets/columns/title to override /libs/wcm/core/content/damadmin/grid/assets/columns/title. No luck.

Hi,We were see quite a number of issues within the error logs about sessions that aren't closing. I went through Adobe's article about debugging the sessions issues and we then decided to test the application over qa environment with debug enabled. We do quite a number or reverse replications and we also open sessions in case needed be but close them within the finally block. After running the application for few minutes and filtering the logs with session_analyzer jar below is the excerpt of the file. Should i be worried about it? Should i open a day care for the same? Dear All,I get lot of spam mails from AEM forum every day particularly the ones in Arabic. Please find attached screen shot.But when check them on web I see them they are already deleted. Looks like it is a work of anonymous user/users.Can Adobe provide some spam protection ? Hi,We face intermittent issues when the logout is invoked by tablet or by phones. Desktop seems to be fine and that is a reason why i can't debug the logout problem. We have external vendors that develop the phones or tablet support which makes it very hard to debug the issue. Below seems to be the stack trace of the error. I am not quite sure why is DefaultLoginModule being called is it because none of the other handlers were able to process the request? If yes, why is it intermittent? Should i be worried about this info? Hi, I trying to add new custom tab (context) to sidekick for some new custom actions. Using AEM 5.6.1 version.I've made that using CQ.Ext.override sidekick's loadPanel method and onload I used addAction method to add custom buttons. But sidekick is overriden only when clientlib, where sidekick is stored, has defined category cq.wcm.edit. This is a problem, cause clientlib with this category is loaded in all apps, so sidekick is changed independently on app.My question, is there some possibility to solve this problem?
