Hi, I am migrating an OSGI bundle to Aem 6.1 From http://wem.shopriteholdings.co.za/system/console/bundles/ I install, the bundle is active, but it no longer shows my service IDS. Does anyone know what could cause this, I have updated my CQ version in the pom, and my java version to 1.8

Hi All,I have custom workflow and we are seeing issues while it's running but we are not getting any relevant information in error.log.I heard to configure a separate log for workflows we need to include out of the box workflow packages.If anyone knows please give me the those out of box packages and i will configure a log.Thanks,Kishore

Hi,So I copied the working website built with Adobe CQ to another test server.From port 4502 I can work with Adobe CQ and see preview of pages...  I see in  WCM all pages as published.But my question is: how can I see the website just typing URL without entering to Adobe CQ?

I'd like to add an option to the page dialog drop down in the editor.What I attempted to do was create a an override at /apps/wcm/core/content/editor/jcr:content/content/items/content/header/items/headerbar/items/pageinfopopover/items/pagestatus with sling:resourcetype seem to a custom pagestatus. This didn't seem to have any affect. This solution worked in 6.0.Does anyone have any alternatives to accomplish this?This is perhaps an unrelated quesiton, but I'd also like to implement an entirely separate editor for certain content types (to keep different actions for say, news stories v regular content pages, separate and help to with portability) if anyone can point me in the right direction for that.

I created design path for my project for sidekick components.Instead of my design, it's taking default design, how i can fix this.ex: i created etc/design/myproject/jcr:content/mytemplatename/parsys name.but instead of that, it's going to etc/design/default/jcr:content/mytemplate/parsys.How i can fix this.

(posted this question in AEM Forms forums too )I notice that in AEM 6.0+ there are two categories of Forms in side kick (1) Forms and (2) Adaptive FormsI have a requirement for forms to be responsive and forms are available for anonymous (un-authenticated). These forms will be used by end users for submitting their own details and then action will need to be taken manually. The forms hane one more requirement that the form data be emailed to specific users.Is there an article or any research available which can help me valuate which one to use/KS

Hello,We have a requirement, where we want to extend the existing components in (Allowed Components) from one project to another.Like if X website has 5 components, then Y want to use all these 5 components can we do some changes so we can see all the components in Y website.Is it only possible by copying and writing the code? Please confirm.

Hey all.I'm working on a scaffolding form that would allow a content user to create a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that web users can view.  One of the fields required for the scaffolding form is a document upload control so that the Content Author can upload a file (e.g.) a PDF for the web user to download that contains some detailed information.In my work in trying to figure this out, I've determined that there is a field with an xtype set to "html5fileuploadfield" that will make the field appear in the form...but nothing happens with it other than showing the explorer dialog box after hitting the "Browse..." button.What other configuration would need to be done (in terms of additional properties and such) in order to get this thing working properly?Thanks.

Hi All,i am using dom4j.jar to parse XML and in my local i have added as dependency ,so i am not seeing compilation erros.How to embed the same jar and create a bundle and deploy the bundleI have tried with several options of Embedd tag but could not able to resolve it.Can someone please give details like how to use this Embedd tag.Thanks,Kishore

I'm a beginner trying to learn AEM.I've a Map<Custom class, Custom Class> from which I'm able to retrieve "Key" but not able to retrieve "Value" in Sightly.If <div data-sly-list> is used it displays the "Key", but not displaying "Value".Example :<div>car class</div><div data-sly-use.test="${'Class Name' @ slingreq=request }">           <div data-sly-list.var="${test.getVehFeatures}">Key: ${var.xyz} Value:${test.getVehFeatures[var].name}</div></div>getVehFeatures is of type Map<Custom class, Custom class>If <div data-sly-attribute > is used, it doesn't display anything. Please suggest an approach for this in Sightly.Thanks,Karthik

1. How can I use product component directly in my code in such a way that it should pick all products from etc/commerce/product node and create different add to cart form for different products?2. For Product component, we cant directly use it in our code like <cq:include path="abc" resourceType="commerce/components/product">3. How can we create more than one shopping cart i.e. suppose I want to provide a provision to user for ordering products as well as to get a demo of those products. So for every user the mycart should be displaying two types of cart one is for actual order and other is just for demo purpose. Any idea how we can do that?

Am doing preload parsys with components.I copied etc/design/geometrix/jcr:content and i created my own project name under etc/design/example/ and i pasted jcr:content from geometrixx.am getting values that time, because parsys names are par and parsys over there, if i change parsys name to my own am not getting vales in side-kick.Please help me, if am doing any thing wrong.

 I want to be able to, in a JSP, file browse to a page/asset and find all instances of it within my entire AEM instance, so that I can find what uses it. I know this functionality already exists in AEM as when you move a page that is used in a list if informs you that it will modify the list to point to its new location.  How can I access this information in a JSP file efficiently?

I am trying to process the LAST item in a findResources query differently from all others, but I can't fugure out how to do that. Hi,I have created a custom widget in which i have a rte defined as below:                        this.textField1 = new  CQ.form.RichText({                             width : 'auto',                             "stateful" : false                         });                         this.add(this.textField1);The rich text field appears but with out the plugins(subscript, superscript etc).Could someone suggest me a way to add the plugins too.

However this still causes issues as the main LESS files are only re-compiled when they change. i.e. if you change the variables file you have to change all the files that reference it to get the changes to propagate - would be great to hear if anyone has a solution to this.

Hi,I had a couple of questions regarding deletion and deactivation of nodes.Is there an API call for both deleting and deactivating a node?Apart from event handling options, are there any other ways to configure CQ5 so that when descendants of a node N are added/remove/changed on an author instance, the changes are synced to the publish instance? For example by using a special property on the node?
