There are 3 issues related to security we found in CQ5. Is there a way we can resolve these issues or these are already known issues in CQ5.Session is not getting timed out after 30 mins of inactivity on Author and Publisher journey.Session is not getting timed out after 30 mins of inactivity on Author and Publisher journey.Account is not getting locked after certain number of invalid attempts on Author and Publisher journey.A misuser can get access to Author journey by hijacking his session using (present or previous) login-token.Please suggest a solution for these.

Hi,I want to have the list of pages of news in news folder. I want to return the title & date of created time sorted one.I need a limit number in order to return those # of news pages information. I have a dialog which has 2 field: Path of news & limit number;    String parentPage = properties.get("parentPage", currentPage.getPath());    // this one shows me the path parentPage: /content/ci/news   (I am not sure how to write this part: TagManager tagM = resourceResolver.adaptTo(TagManager.class); )?!   I tried with pagemanager which wasn't success.Now, how should I return the list of pages in this path?Thanks,Bahareh    

HiI would like to have browser spell check for the rich-text dialog. For some reason, it is disabled by default (see image below). The 'spellcheck' plugin is an option, but native browser spell checking is preferable.Also, for the 'spellcheck' plugin - is it an open source one? Hi All,there is a new Social Communities, which allows to moderate user generated content. I'm looking for a way of getting direct link to particular comment or link to SoCo with path filter applied. Anybody using or has evaluated the Slice framework made available by Cognifide ?I am trying to assess whether it will enable us to acheive a cleaner separation of the markup, scripting and business logic and in particular allow us to improve the testability of code we create in AEM. I'm not sure yet how well it might fit in with the more typical code I see which iintersperses EL and markup which (to me) make much of the code very difficult to maintain and test (in most other areas of software development we typically have a strong TDD practice often using DI frameworks). I am looking to maintain some similar rigour in our engineering practice when using AEM but most of the code I seen todate (both from our resource partners and on the training course) seems to take a somewhat different approach. Obviously I would prefer to stick with core capability of AEM before resorting to additional libraries.Kind regardsFraser.

Hello,we need to order Scene7 / Adobe Marketing Cloud for our Customer AMD Möbel , who wants to publish digital papers with Links to the Shop included. I've tested several products for e-publishing but I think Scene7 is the best.So I called the phone support in germany but nobody could tell me more about the product or where to order. Noone on the Sales-Line ever heard of that product. Even when I described how to browse on Adobe's website the salesman said that he never heard of it. I don't know any prices or how to order.If here is anybody who could tell me a contact to a salesman - or a price of scene7, please help me!Thanks,Samuel

To do this go into design mode on the scaffold page. A link will appear allowing you to edit the scaffold in the dialog editor."I can't see the link. you can see the screenshot in attachment.Is there any way to fix this problem.Thanks

Hello,I want to save a xtype ‘datefield’ in CQ5 as Date type, like a jcr:created property for example. In dialog node i have defined a ‘cq:widget’  with the property xtype=‘datefiled’. But the issue is that the result is saved like a String type insted of Date type.How can i save the item as Date?Thanks !

Hi All,I have a requirement, In which what should be done is- whenever user selects some text and clicks a button(customized) that button should convert all the white space in Selected text to non breakable space.Till now I am able to add the button via MiscToolPlugin.js. But after that I do not know how to proceed.MiscToolPlugin.js uses method     execute: function(id, value, options) .I will call my method from this method. and My thinking is to somehow get the selected Text and replace all white space in this selected Text to non breakable space.But I do not know How to get the selected Text and how to save the new Text back after replacing.I searched on internet but couldn't find anything useful. Please help asap.Thanks in advance.

I'm currently trying to create a xpath query in crxde that is looking for items that contain some special characters. Here is what i have./jcr:root/content/*//jcr:content//*[jcr:contains(., '<style>')]This end up yeilding a list of items containing style instead of <style>. I've tried escaping the character like this "\<style\>" and that didn't do anything.

Hello Experts !We are using AEM 5.6.1 for digital asset management (No WCM module) in our company. We are in development phase therefore still deciding about the production environment setup. I have enabled all possible RTE toolbar in apps location however,  i want to provide capability to platform administrator to control availability of certain toolbar to specific user but not all user. To achieve this i need to know how can i enable or disable toolbar in run time.any thoughts? Thanks Chandra

Going to this: /bin/wcmcommand?cmd=copyPage on our authoring instance results in a 500 message.  However, it is using the default 500 page, rather than the custom pages I have at /apps/sling/servlet/errorhandler.  I can confirm they work because going to /bin/wcmcommand goes to those pages - note that it does not have a post request of cmd=copyPage.How can I get it to use my custom page?

Looks like in 5.6.1 the link to the payload item, even if it is a valid page, results in an error. Looks like some sort of 404 error.Noticed a few other threads in this forum that elude to the same issue but, each one has no responses and trying to click into any of those threads is resulting in a 502 Bad Gateway Request. So I apologize for the same question being asked again but, anyone know if there is a hotfix available for this?
