Hi All,In CRXDE-Lite I see that Logo component[/libs/foundation/components/logo/] has three main nodes under it- Logo.jsp [this is by default created, for Sling to render the component]-There is a design_dialog node[based on theoretical knowledge this is applicable across the site, so probably it means that this component will appear on all the pages]. Under that too, there are various nodes present. Not sure what exactly they deal with.-Also, there is img.GET.java file. Not quite getting as to what exactly it deals with. Any thoughts on this will be really helpful.

I'm working on a site that requires managing a possibly large list of people. The data for these people will most likely be stored in their own node in the JCR. Is there a good pattern, component or example for dealing with large lists of this type of data with AEM? I'm mostly concerned about front-end functionality, especially when it comes to CRUD (create, read, update and delete) for items in the list.

Hi all,   I am trying to create a bundle from CRXDE Lite. The jar gets created correctly in the /apps/.../install folder but the bundle is not available in the felix console. It is a simple class only so i do not want to set up maven for this. Is there any config changes that we need to do so that bundle will be availlabel in the felix console also?   I am using AEM 5.6.1.

So i am trying to use the built in authentication for AEM. I am able to create a form where someone can register a user and it puts the user in the users tab in AEM. When i try to make a page with the login component however, it does not work. When you enter in the user and the password and click sign in i get an alert box with the message "The user could not be found." It doesnt matter if its the user i created or the admin but nothing works. When i go to geometrixx or create a page under the geometrixx site with a login, the user i created signs in perfectly fine. I am running AEM 6 SP2. I would appreciate help in figuring out how to implement the login feature. Thank you very much.

Example: I have a component folder called file.  Underneath that folder I have two files that I would like to use to display the component: file.html and file.admin.html.  I have dropped my component onto a page and have been trying several variations on trying to get the admin version to display, so far to no avail.  Any ideas how I would get this to work (or do I need to switch over to JSP's for this component)?  Thanks in advance!

HiI want to enable / disable the fields on metadata editor page. For example i should have 1 dropdown and 3 text boxes. If i select yes value from the first drop down then i have to hide or disable the 3 text boxes. If i select no then i should enable those again. Please help me to do this.

Has anyone ever integrated the ExactTarget Fuel SDK with AEM for sending transactional e-mails? Our team is trying and we have hit some major roadblocks.The issues seem to be mostly around dependencies that the SDK requires, but that are not included during packaging and installation to AEM. We've created a stand-alone bundle with nothing but the Fuel SDK and all of its dependencies, however we are now having problems getting the AEM ExactTarget Service to point to the new exported Fuel dependency.Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated, and I thank you in advance.

Hi Everyone,I have a use case where content is copied on Activation.1. I have roll out config created which will be triggered on Activation , it has contentCopy, contentUpdate & targetActivate as sync actions 2. I have my source page created (manually)3. I have my copy page created (manually) which will hold the cq:LiveSyncConfig with details of roll out config & master path & deep set to true (Manually Created a live relation )Now when I activate a immediate child of Source Page, the page is copied to my destination . But when I activate the child at level 2 as shown below, it is not copied to my destinationSource Page    Child Level 1            Child Level 2Copy Page        Child Level 1 (Copied - But doesnt hold any mixin cq:LiveRelationship)            Child Level 2   (Not Copied)I assume that the children are not in live sync since  (cq:LiveRelationship) mixin is missing .Do we have any such restrictions on children, when live copy is triggered on activation?   But wh

Hi Guys,    I am trying to create a OSGI bundle in CRXDE  Lite. I have created a sling servlet in that bundle and it is working fine.Now i want to create a OSGI Service and use it in the servlet. Can i create the Inteface and implementation class as siblings to sling servlet? Using AEM 6.1 and have created a nested multifield dialog based on this  example (http://experience-aem.blogspot.com.au/2015/03/aem-6-sp2-touch-ui-coral-ui-nested-multi-multifield.html)I'm seeing an error "CUI is not defined"  thrown at line 169 in the nested-mulitfield.js.Any one else experience this and have a possible resolution? Thanks

Hi All,I'm working in Adobe CQ5.5 & have a problem with pasting text into a table component rich text area, when using Google Chrome.If I paste text when editing a component, the text is saved and the page isn't refreshed, but the viewport jumps to the top of the page.This behaviour isn't happening in Firefox. I have a component in my code which uses sightly and  script has the extension as .htmlSo , script of the component would be like : componentName.htmlWhen I try to render the component , I get the following information from the error.log : org.apache.sling.servlets.get.impl.DefaultGetServlet No renderer for extension html, cannot render resource Paragraph, path=/content/XXX/Par/ComponentSame component is working fine on the Servers. I must be missing some settings / or component from Felix console not running. I see the similar issue for all Sightly component.Any Suggestions I can try ?
