I added a custom node type to the nodetypes.cnd file.  That file is in the META-INF/vault folder.  When the package is built, I cannot find this file in the package.  Is that a problem?  If so, where should this file be copied to?  To test if this may be the issue, I manually added the nodetypes.cnd file to the META-IN/vault folder of the package, but this did not solve the problem either.  I had successfully use a nodetype.cnd file a few months ago with AEM 6.0 to add a new namespace.  I am having an issue doing this now.  This time I an using AEM 6.1. Contents of the nodetypes.cnd file: <'testXmpExt'='testXmpExt>

Having an issue where some users are missing components in the sidekick. It appears to only happen on a few pages even though there is only a single template. When we check the page in design mode all the components are checked they just don't show up in the sidekick. If we delete the page and make a new one, the components show up again. We tried clearing browser cache/clientlibs, deleting compiled jsp's, rebooting the server without any success.Anyone had this issue and/or know what's going on? Any ideas what we can do to debug it?6.0 + SP2Java 1.79

Hi , I have 2 domains and how to handle the same in acs common error handler. each domain has a separate 404 page. Currently i have set to one of the error page. I get an exception when starting the server on an already installed bundle osgi.wiring.package=com.day.cq.wcm.apiIt looks like the bundle is started after the com.day.cq.wcm.api bundle is started or initialized. If the instance is started, I can upload my bundle without any problem.

Hi,Has someone successfully installed Elastic Path demo for AEM 6.1? The packages mentioned on "https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/deploy/ecommerce/elasticpath.html" are not available on Package Share.I also had a look at the Elastic Path developer site. It mentions that EP API, EP Gemomerixxx Content and EP Commerce AMC Demo Spring 2015 packages are required for the demo installation. I could not find EP Commerce AMC Demo Spring 2015 package on the Package Share.I think the information on this topic is scattered and ambiguous. If anyone has installed this demo successfully, request you to please provide the pointers to correct packages and steps to follow.Thanks,Navneet

Hi All,We are planning to migrate crx2 to Oak. it toook more time so decided to remove DAM folders before migration, DAM consists of more and more sub folders,I need to delete /content/dam entire folders. Once i am doing  getting "could not save - 401 error or error -1".Please let me know how to delete dam contents.For  ex: If any folder sizse is big , i am getting the below error.Only JPG or image files are deleting and saving properly. How i can acheive autogenerated id  in CQ5?

I used Package Manager to download the content from Adobe CQ5 and imported it to the test server. Also downloaded and uploaded Digital Assets.The question is how do I get the webpages? After the content was imported I don't see in WCM any pages of the project.

Hi, I need to implement some reporting functionalities (or enhance already existing standard reports in AEM). I am looking at this Adobe document on developing reports - https://docs.adobe.com/docs/en/aem/6-1/develop/operations/dev-reports.html -  and I was wondering two things:1. Where is the "User Generated Content Report" mentioned at the top of the page? It is the only one missing under http://localhost:4502/miscadmin#/etc/reports2. Can any of these reports be accessed or made available via the Touch UI?Any help is greatly appreciated :)Thanks, Alex

I have a requirement in which we need to send email from AEM using cq mail service. But the problem is we need to implement it JMS queue so that it doesn't overburden the server. So is there any document how can we integrate JMS queue into AEM.

We are running CQ 5.6.1 with CQ Social Communities package 1.4.205.  We have configured our Forum email notification as it is described in the Adobe docs [1].  We have also created our own ForumEventEmailBuilder that extends AbstractEmailBuilder.  We have disabled the out of the box com.adobe.cq.social.forum.impl.ForumEventEmailBuilder by unchecking the "Is Enabled" checkbox in the Felix console and ensured ours is enabled.This all works great in our test environment and it worked great in our production environment until about a week ago when our EmailBuilder stopped getting called.  The out of the box one is not getting called either.  It lead me to believe that something got blacklisted in the Felix EventAdmin but we have our class package in the "Ignore Timeouts" section of the event admin as well as the com.adobe* in the Ignore Timeouts.Email is being sent for Workflow events and Page events, it's just not getting fired for Forum events.  What could I be missing?  Is there somewhe

Hi, I've seen your discussions in https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1127899 regarding the same. I'd already tried adding 'tel:' to 'Special Link Prefix' in CQ Link Checker Service configuration. I've also tried adding x-cq-linkchecker="skip" to the <a> tags. I'm using AEM6. I'm using a sightly template - does this x-cq-linkchecker="skip" work in Sightly? I've followed your steps and added a com.day.cq.rewriter.linkchecker.impl.LinkCheckerImpl under /apps/<myapp>/config, and no luck! I've also tried turning off linkchecker entirely by disabling it in Day CQ Link Checker Transformer. And this has no effect!  Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

I have created a new workflow using public class MyProcess implements WorkflowProcess { }i have overridden public void execute(WorkItem item, WorkflowSession session, MetaDataMap args) throws WorkflowException { }this method and able to get payload when an asset gets uploaded.However I want to access the workflow launcher configurations(i.e. the folder of DAM assets on which the workflow gets launched) in my java code.how do i get it , I am not saying about arguments, arguments can be fetched by MetaDataMap args.can anyone tell me , if possible a couple of lines demonstrating same woul help a lot.Thanks in advance.

Turning minify to ON using  com.adobe.granite.ui.clientlibs.impl.HtmlLibraryManagerImpl   is  doing ONLY basic minification. For example carriage return is not removed from CSS and JSEven obfuscation is also basic.If there a way to configure the YUI compressor that it uses with advanced parameters for more compression of the statis files (JS and CSS) ?
