The Adobe Experience League Community is here to help you learn, share, and connect. Great posts make it easier for others to understand your question and provide helpful answers. Follow these tips to keep discussions clear, constructive, and welcoming.

1. Search Before You Post

Before starting a new thread, use the search bar to check if your question has already been answered. This saves time and helps keep the Community organized.

2. Use a Clear, Descriptive Title

Your title should summarize your question or topic in a few words.

Example: Instead of “Help!”, try “How do I set up AEM workflows for multiple authors?”

3. Add Helpful Details

The more context you provide, the easier it is for others to help. Include:

  • The product and version you’re using.

  • Steps you’ve already tried.

  • Screenshots or error messages (if relevant).

4. Tag Your Post

Tags make your post easier to find. Use tags that match the product or topic you’re asking about.

5. Stay on Topic and Keep it Current

When replying to a post, answer the question or add to the discussion at hand. If you have a tangential question, start a new thread instead of changing the topic—this keeps conversations clear and makes it easier for others to find solutions.

If you want to revisit an older topic, don’t revive outdated threads. Technology and Adobe products evolve quickly, so start a fresh post with your question or perspective. This ensures the conversation reflects the latest features and best practices.

6. Follow Up

If someone helps you solve your issue, mark their answer as Accepted and say thank you. It helps others find solutions faster and shows appreciation for the effort.

7. Bring Your Voice

The Community works best when people show up as themselves. Posts don’t need to be perfect—just genuine. Add a little personality: use emojis, share a screenshot, or even ask a follow-up question like “How are you approaching this?” to invite conversation. A friendly tone makes your post more engaging and encourages others to join in.

A clear, authentic post benefits everyone. It helps you get answers faster and makes the Community a better resource for all.
