Hi everyone, apologies to start the AMA on a negative note, but we've encountered several issues with the new UI. The toggle to switch back to the old UI has helped, but stability hasn't been fantastic the last week or so since the toggle was introduced. As there are still a number of open issues, please can you give some reassurance that the forced migration will not be completed until all issues have been addressed?

It also appears that activities built or saved in the new UI are not back-compatible with the old UI - is there a risk that our "always on" activities, built in the old UI, will stop working once the migration to the new UI is complete?

Is there a risk that any Live AB tests will stop working when the migration is complete?

Will we need to rebuild activities in the new UI if/when amends are required?

100% seeing the same problems in the new UI, it's my new unexpected #1 concern/priority now, keeping me up at night.

What are the best methods for utilizing Target for personalization but through the AEM content management system? For Cloud Service, is Context Hub a viable option?

@marcn98226988 Great question!  AEM and Target have a powerful integration benefitting content velocity, which allows Experience Fragments and Content Fragments from AEM to be shared directly into Target's offer library with metadata from AEM.  This provides rapid iteration on experience variations with brand accepted templates that can be updated from the AEM side.

@maccg12 The new Flicker Management solution will become generally available in September '25.

The new modernized UI has a lot of improvements in terms of accessible features, governance, and streamlined processes.  The new VEC will have embedded AI Assistant for content generation soon, so even more advancements coming to the new UI shortly.  Our PM team has recorded demoes and updated documentation if there are any questions, but the new UI does follow the same logic as the former UI.

Hello,

In the old Target UI we could add scripts to the <head> or at the end of <body>. I don't see this option in the new UI, How can I control where will the script be added in the new UI

Thanks!

@mattzz - the option to have custom code outside of page <head> will be added in one of the next Adobe Target releases.

This will be posted on: https://experienceleague.adobe.com/en/docs/target/using/release-notes/release-notes
